THE GOD GAMES: Heaven & Hell...Chapter Five
Then Charlie stood up and called for his two children to come forth.
"Mom, this is Lindsey and Mark, they have something to say to you."
"Grandma," said Lindsey, "it will seem to you that I am very far away and that I can't feel your love, but be very sure that I will never forget all the thoughts and gifts you'll send my way. You always will remember me though I will live very far from you, and I will always be there loving you and hoping for the day when we can become very close. Be assured that I do love you and always will."
"Grandma," said Mark, "you will enter my life very few times, as I will live so very far away from you, but be very assured that I notice your love for me, and I will not forget you, and I will love you always."
When they had all sat down again, Jared stood up and proudly called for his three children.
"Mom," said Jared, "this is Drake, David, and Phoebe. They all want to say something to you."
"Grandma," said Drake, "I will also have a rough go at the start of my life, but you will love me and have faith in my inate gifts. My mother and father are wonderful and spare no effort to give me the best. I promise you that as I grow I will come to know you and we will be very close. I will always love you."
"Grandma," said David J., "we may not see each other as often as we would like, because we live so far apart, but I will always feel your love and interest in me. There will come a day when we will be close and I will always feel your love and support. I want you to know that I love you, and thanks for teaching dad so well. I am gifted with such loving parents."
"Grandma," said Phoebe, "you will teach me many things in life even though we are not living close together. I have always felt your love and the excitement you anticipated my birth with. I will be your youngest grandchild and that will be a special bond between us. I will always love you."
Then my son, David, stood up and spoke.
"Mom, I will not be giving you any grandchildren, but I will raise a number of your other grandchildren. I will raise them in the manner that you raised me, and that is with great love and acceptance. You have always been such a great strength to me, and I will always carry your message of love in all that I do."
Well, I don't mind telling you that my mind and heart were reeling from all that I had heard and experienced. There was so much love in the room that I actually shook.
I looked around the room at all of my children and grandchildren, and their generations, and I began to realize that accepting all of this would require a great deal of strength, perseverance, and love. I would have to plan my life game very carefully, but I felt energized and motivated at the thought of each of them, and their unconditional love. I had made up my mind and heart.
"My dear husband, children, and grandchildren, I do so love each of you. I will give you my love, acceptance and my energy. I choose each and all of you, and I will become the matriarch that you are requesting me to be. All of my life everything will be done for your sakes."
A rousing cheer went up from around the room and I thanked them for their support. Then I suggested that we all enjoy this wonderful party they had prepared. We partied until we were all exhausted: food, dancing, beautiful music, and a chance to go around the room and become better acquainted with each of them. Truly only in this sacred home, we were all a part of, could such love be comprehended.
Finally, I saw Glenna coming towards me, she was smiling but somehow I detected a note of seriousness in her demeanor.
"Well, Ann, our next journey awaits us. It is good that you have felt the love of your children and grandchildren, and chosen a husband for yourself. All of this will help you get through our next adventure, the sexuality house."
And with that said, we walked out the door.
