THE RAPE OF LUCY

Today is the last day for a while that I will be writing my blog. I plan to return on Monday, October 1st, 2012, unless my modem or computer faces problems with the physical move. Please have patience with me and return to view the blog. There are only four more chapters to the Legend of Kor, and then when she is finished I shall finish the writing for the first book, Heaven & Hell. Please stay with me for the future adventures of our favorite energynauts; Tom, Ed, Glenna, and Ann.

Today Lucy finds herself in a dangerous situation with an unexpected outcome.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Twenty

Three more days passed, and Adam radioed Bond that they had entered Mano and that they had not been challenged, but that the Selves had waved white flags and surrendered. They were having trouble with rioting in the streets, but once General Coleman brought in his wagons of food, fish, kelp, and sugar beets, the people were soothed by the promise of food and the knowledge that now that the war is over, they will be able to take their money and buy food from Emon, Voun, and Wale again.

Lucy, Miriam, Alice, Glenna, Molly and I, all came over to the Voun-Emon camp to care for the patients. With us were a thousand men of the Special Forces unit. They immediately began by having Gog's soldiers scrub out the barracks and each bunk in each of the barracks. Then they bathed each ill prisoner, put private wear and clean pajamas on each of them, and then placed them in the clean bunks. Lucy then stepped up and ordered the sugar beets once an hour, and three times a day they were to have the fish and kelp soup.

Going from patient to patient, Lucy diagnosed their particular illness and gave them antibiotics as needed. She did not find dead bodies in any of the bunks, and each bunk held only one person, so there was a real difference between the prisoners that they intended to kill by whatever method and prisoners who were there for their working abilities. The Vouns and Emons, for the most part, were in better shape than the Wales, but that was a minimal difference, and there were hundreds of Vouns and Emons who were very near death.

Lucy had gotten through the first four barracks and she went outside near the fences to relax for a minute and get a breath of fresh air. It was getting dark and she realized that she had better get back to work if she wanted to help as many patients as possible. She was thus thinking, with her eyes closed, when she got a really bad feeling in her heart. She opened her eyes and met the cold cruel eyes of one of Gog's true-to-the-core soldiers. He reached out and grabbed her shoulders and shook her, he then pressed his body into hers and reached down and unzipped the breech in his pants. Lucy's hair had got caught in the fence, limiting her movements, but she kneed him in his groin and scratched his face, then suddenly, when she was about to lose the battle, there was a tremendous screech, and Bond physically picked up Gog's soldier and threw him on the ground. His pistol was instantly in his hand and he shot Gog's soldier straight in the heart.

Lucy was sobbing and shaking from her near disaster and she flew into Bond's protective arms. Bond soothed Lucy by rocking her in his arms and softly patting her back. Something broke loose in Bond's and Lucy's hearts. They had held their hearts tightly closed to love, but now, looking into each others eyes, their hearts melted.

"Thank you Bond," said Lucy, "I thought I was dead; or worse. Oh, it was horrible!" Bond held her even closer and made soothing noises. By then, a group of Bond's men had gathered and asked Bond what had happened. Bond gave them a quick sketch and they applauded him for saving Dr. Prism's life.

Bond followed Lucy into the fifth barrack and stayed with her all through that night of work. He admired Lucy so much for her strength to go through such an ordeal, and then put it all aside to treat injured Emons and Vouns. He felt his heart expanding.

Lucy continued to treat the patients until 10:30 a.m., and then she came looking for me. She needed to talk about Gog's soldier and what he had done to her, then she flushed and told me how Bond had saved her life by killing Gog's soldier, and how he had taken her in his arms and comforted her; how kind and gentle he was.

I felt in my heart that a fresh miracle had occurred, and thanked ONE for protecting Lucy and bringing love to Lucy and Bond; I decided that this information should be kept silent at this time.

The days passed, and little by little all of the patients improved. There were no more deaths, except from natural causes, and group by group the Wales, Vouns, and Emons returned to their own homes. After three months, Bond ordered that the camps be demolished and all of the building materials burned. When all of the buildings and fences had been burned, Bond ordered all of the land bulldozed, and then when nothing remained, he placed a 4 foot square sign on the land where the Wales had been slaughtered. It said, "In remembrance of the lives of Wale, Emon, and Voun prisoners who suffered and died under the hand of Gog."

When I return we will see how General Coleman and Wills are fairing in Mano, Selve. How the riots were quelled and supervized elections were set up.

RESCUING THE VOUN & EMON SLAVES

Two days and then there will be a gap in this blog. Hopefully it will only be for one or two days and then I will have my equipment back up. This will be a fun move filled with mysteries and old ghosts as I move into an old hotel with much history attached. I hope you will come back and explore the hotel with me. It is the Ritz of Atlantic City and is the focal building in the HBO series, "Boardwalk Empire." Nucky Thompson, Al Capone, and Lucky Luciano, have lived and done their business there, as well as many other mafia and political leaders. I am personally so excited by the move that I can hardly breathe.

Today, we find Bond Boyd pushing to move on and capture the Emon and Voun slave camp, two miles away from the Wale's death camp.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Twenty

Bond gathered the remaining Special Forces soldiers, and Gog's soldiers, and set them to digging a vast trench in which to bury the dead bodies of the Wale martyrs.

By 8:00 p.m., all of the barracks had been entered and all of the Wale prisoners had been washed, dressed, fed sugar beets on the hour and were eating fish and kelp soup.

It took most of the Special Forces units to care for the Wale prisoners, and every one of Gog's soldiers to clean up the camp. It appeared that only 1,000 prisoners were able to walk by themselves. There were 1,200 prisoners who had died and had to be removed from the barracks; they had been taken out of the barracks and placed in the new trench. The remaining 7,800 Wales, would need several weeks of rehabilitation before they would be able to return to their homes.

Bond wanted to attack the labor camps where the Voun and Emon prisoners were kept, in slightly better conditions, but still starving and worn out physically.

The crematoriums had been shut down the first night of the Special Forces attack on the internment camp and Bond had assigned a unit of the Special Forces to tear them down brick by brick.

On the third day of the invasion of the internment camp, Bond gathered a sharpshooters division of 1,000 Special Forces soldiers and marched them two miles to the labor camp. There, Gog's soldiers waved a white flag and gave the camp over to Bond without a fight.

Bond walked around the camp, and saw the same overflowing bucket-latrines, the same prisoners who could hardly walk, and the same extreme emaciation of the prisoner's bodies. He learned that the same rules apply here as in the internment camp, that if you could work you received watered-down cabbage soup and a small piece of bread once a day, but if you couldn't work, you didn't eat at all. Usually there were not too many non-workers in the labor camps as the tendency was to shoot a man if he began to shuffle instead of walk.

Bond set up 26 tables, in alphabetical order, and had the prisoners line up in front of the table that represented the first letter of their last names.

Each prisoner gave a soldier at their table their name and where they lived. They also named friends who they knew had been killed or had died from starvation or other causes.

Bond thought, "Gog had often contemplated the removal of everyone who wasn't a Selve from Kor. You'd think, that being a good businessman, he would treat slaves with unusual care, but-as is so often the truth-he treated them with abysmal cruelty; as though they were worth less than dirt. What kind of business logic is that?"

Bond had brought food and sugar beets with him, and he got soldiers busy in the kitchen cooking sugar beets and fixing the fish and kelp soup.

They were expecting fresh vegetables, fruit, and breads from Lieutenant Ted Stars and the Walean people any day now, but for now the soup and the sugar beets were relieving the slaves' pain and strengthening their immune systems.

Bond radioed Lieutenant Sorn Brandts and asked him to send the six women over to evaluate the slave Vouns and Emons.

No one said their burden was too great. The soldiers nursing the Wales were up for double duty. These Special Forces soldiers nursed their Walean patients in the morning, and their Voun and Emon patients in the afternoon. They set up some of the kinder of Gog's soldiers as people feeders. They would go from one person to the next, feeding them and making them comfortable in their beds. Lieutenant Brandts noted the 200 of Gog's men who were able to do this compassionate duty and kept them in mind for future leniencies.

Gog's soldiers were not at all sure that their lives would go on from here. They knew that they would not have given anyone else a chance at life, so why should they think others would do differently for them? But as they observed the Wales, Emons, and Vouns, and their soldiers and officers, they had had to come to the conclusion that these other Korians lived their lives differently than the average Selve. They seemed to be compassionate-a much denigrated trait in Selve-in all that they did or said. They treated the Selves as if they were beings worthy of respect despite their past actions.

When the food trucks and carts came from Wale, Bond had any of the prisoners, who were well enough, go back to Wale in the carts and trucks. Once at the Armory, these people stayed in barracks at the base while family members were found and made their way to rescue their relative.

Tomorrow we witness a rape in the middle of the peace progress.

NURSING THE DEATH CAMP PRISONERS

We find Lieutenant Sorn Brandts organizing the troops to care for the death camp survivors.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Twenty

Lieutenant Brandts sent for Gog's soldiers and told them to find buckets, brooms, and mops to clean the floors, walls, and beds in all of the barracks. Gog's men turned to immediately.

Lieutenant Brandts went to Bond and explained the execrable conditions they had found. Bond radioed the ladies to see how far out they were, and they said about a half an hour. Miriam got on the radio and asked for the bottom line.

"There are thousands of dead bodies. No sanitary conditions. The prisoners are very close to death and are suffering."

"O.K.," said Miriam. "Cook up huge pots of sugar beets. Let them get very mushy. Save all of the juice, we are going to need a lot of it."

"O.K.," said Bond, "it shall be done immediately."

Pots of sugar beets were put on the stoves in the kitchen. The cellar holding the beets was uncovered by one of Wills' men, and they would have enough until Adam's food trucks came to the camps.

When the ladies arrived by truck, they immediately went to see the first barrack. Dr. Lucy Prism started on the first bed and worked through to the last. She first discovered those Wales who had passed on, and had Gog's soldiers remove them immediately. Then she ordered their bed areas to be scrubbed with antiseptic and made-up with sheets and blankets that they had brought. She then ordered each member of the Special Force's unit to wash the bodies of each prisoner and place private wear and clean robes on each person. Afterwards, they were to put that person in one of the beds that had been cleaned, and cover them with a quilt. She had each soldier feed their Wale patients either a quarter cup of mashed sugar beets or a half cup of sugar beet juice. In moments, the sugar beets blessed the poor Wales with an absence of pain and a heart of joy.

Dr. Prism went from one prisoner to the next and took samples of their sputum, urine, and bowels, and had Miriam take blood samples. She set up a crude lab in the current hospital barracks that were used only by the Selves, and as soon as the data became available, she began to administer antibiotics to the poor Wales.

Dr. Prism asked what the inmates had been eating and she finally ferreted out that the answer ranged from nothing, to a weak cabbage soup and piece of bread. She ordered sugar beets every hour and a soup made of fish and kelp to be spoon fed to each patient by the Special Forces person in charge of that patient, three times a day.

The bucket latrines were emptied and Gog's men were set to digging 200 outhouses around the camp.

When Veral rose the next morning and there was light everywhere, they were able to get a good count of the Wale prisoners. There were 10,000 Wales in the prison in various states of health. Some were still being worked as slaves until their bodies gave out and they could no longer leave their beds. There were stages of starvation. A workingman received watery cabbage soup and a piece of bread a day, while a man who cannot work receives nothing. "They are there to die anyway, so why feed them?" had been one of Gog's favorite sayings.

The Special Forces oversaw the Gog soldiers as they scrubbed out all of the barracks. Gog's men struggled to clean the barracks, in between having to run outside to vomit themselves, and wished heartily that they had never let it get so bad. Cleaning the barracks was a punishment that they well deserved.

Alice and I went from patient to patient finding out every person's name, and names of relatives, and where they came from in Wale. The Wale prisoners had six-number tattoos on their right hands to match them to records made to Gog's surprisingly rigid standards.

We decided we would match all of the numbers on the dead corpses of Wales to Gog's records so we could at least let their relatives know of their passing. We were soon  to find that everybody that was cremated was checked off in Gog's logbooks by name and number.

Glenna and Molly oversaw the nursing of each of the patients. They showed the Special Forces soldiers how to use reflexology, massaging the prisoner's feet and legs, to help ease their pain and build up their immune systems.

SETTING THE DEATH CAMP FREE

I hope you have a very pleasant day and a great week.
At the end of this week (Friday) I shall be moving into the Ritz of Atlantic City. I am not sure how fast my internet will be up so there may be a short space of time when I cannot do my blog. Please have patience with me. I will get the blog up and running as soon as possible. We are almost finished with Legend of Kor, and then I will be able to go back and finish Book One, Heaven & Hell. May you be blessed with all of the desires of your heart.
Today we see the attack on the death camps and then the attempts to help the poor prisoners to become strong again so they can be returned to Wale and their families.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Twenty

Lieutenant Sorn Brandts took his sword and sliced his way through Selve guards, and then, when the radio announcement was made about Gog's death, he and everyone else became silent and totally still. For a moment no one stirred an inch, and then the Selve soldiers threw up their hands in surrender. Sorn, and all of the Special Forces soldiers, screeched in victory.

Bond climbed up on top of a wall and called for attention. "I see the joy in all of your faces; even in the faces of Gog's soldiers. This is a great day in Kor. We are now a free world.

"All of Gog's soldiers will line up along the fence. Let your officers direct you. If one wrong move is made by one of your soldiers, every last one of you will be shot where you stand. Obey and you will live.

"Now, I want every one of your men and women to come out here with their hands held high; come out of all the barracks and buildings, NOW!

"I want my cameramen to enter every barrack and film what you find there: every detail. Then I want you to take pictures of every inch of the grounds. Skip nothing. I want detailed pictures of the crematoriums, the stacks of bodies, and the insides of Gog's soldier's offices and barracks.

"When the cameramen are finished with the first Wale' barracks, have them signal to Lieutenant Sorn Brandts, and Lieutenant Brandts will order 50 men to go into the barracks and begin to see each of the patients. I will want a report of the dead in each of the barracks."

The cameramen began to go through the first barrack, it took about half an hour before the first cameraman came out of the first barrack. He leaned over the banister and threw up, and then stood there shaking. Finally, he turned and signaled to Lieutenant Brandts and then yelled, "Beware!"

Lieutenant Brandts motioned to the first unit of 50 Special Forces men, The soldiers marched slowly to the first barracks and rather gingerly stepped inside. The groans of all of the prisoners could be heard by all of the soldiers. Several soldiers rushed outside to throw up. What they saw were 20 three-level bunks each holding one or two persons. They were not quite sure if the persons were alive or dead.

There were urine and feces on the floor and in the beds, and a small lake of vomit nearby. The soldiers walked carefully and rather fearfully as they approached the Walean patients.

Fearful eyes greeted them; begging eyes froze them in their tracks; most eyes could no longer open for lack of strength or lack of life.

It was hard to tell if the bodies that they looked at were Korian as their skin had been so severely shriveled and shrunken. Then the coughing started up again, with racking sobs and cries of pain. The soldiers gently touched the prisoners to determine who was alive and who was dead. Ten of the prisoners would never cough again.

The highest ranking soldier said that he would carry the news to Lieutenant Brandts. He stepped out of the barrack and sucked in the night air to rid himself of the taste of death, but instead inhaled the heavy smoke-laden air that oppressed the camp and surrounding environs.

"Lieutenant Brandts, there are 10 dead Wales in barracks #1. It looks like they have been there for some time. The rest of the men are very near death. They are coughing up blood and the conditions are deplorable: blood; urine; feces; vomit; it is hell, Sir."

"Thank you, soldier, I think we need to get lights up so we can see how to help these poor people.

"Do we have any electricians among us?" asked the Lieutenant.

Hands went up on both sides of the enemies.

"Every one of you turn to and find wiring and lightbulbs and string up some lighting so that we can see inside these barracks."

Within an hour, 50 barracks were crudely strung with lights. Lieutenant Brandts entered the first barrack and saw blood and foulness over everything. He noticed a whip on the table that held the single light; a candle. He moved to blow out the candle but heard strange noises from the prisoners and saw frantic looks on their faces. All of them stared at the candle's flame. The little light was their only hope and it helped to stand the pain by staring at it.

Lieutenant Brandts understood in the deepest parts of his soul and he left the candle burning. He then looked into the faces of all the Wales and his heart broke. He immediately started barking orders.

Tomorrow we find the ladies arriving to help out the prisoners and give some surcease to their pain and suffering.

GOG & MAGOG

Have a very peaceful Sunday. Today we are going to take a look at the historical Gog and Magog from the Book of Ezekiel, chapters 38-39.

Ezekiel's vision concerning an attack upon Israel by a violent enemy, Gog and Magog, occupies two chapters (38-39). The prophet foretells the utter destruction of Gog, whose weapons will provide Israel with fuel for seven years and whose corpses will require seven months to bury; then the entire world will acknowledge the power and majesty of the true God. "On that day, when Gog invades the land of Israel...mountains shall be torn apart, and cliffs shall topple over...I will overwhelm him with utter panic...O Gog, I will strike your bow from your left hand and will make your arrows drop out of your right hand. You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and your hordes...I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel..."

Traditionally interpreted ("Encyclopedia of Jewish Concepts" by Philip Birnbaum) this vision refers to a distant future, at the end of days, in which God will eventually defeat the enemies of Israel in the land of Israel. Rav Saadyah Gaon speaks of Gog and Magog in connection with the messianic era: "Then Gog and Magog will hear about the descendant of David and the excellence of his people and country and the abundance of their wealth...He will gather people from various nations...On that day four types of misfortune will descend upon them...Then the spirit of prophecy will descend upon all Israel, young and old. This blessed period will last until the end of time..."

In THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor, Gog is the wicked dictator of the Selve people intent upon exterminating every Wale on the planet and making slaves of the Vouns and Emons. Gog acts very much like Adolph Hitler who I see as the prophecied Gog, and Stalin as Magog. Hitler exterminated the European Jewish community and Stalin sought out for "Special Consideration" the remaining Jews in Russia. Since the Holocaust, the Land of Israel has been restored but takes great vigilance to preserve. I look forward to an age when the spirit of prophecy will descend upon all Israel, young and old.

Tomorrow, we see into the true nature of the death camps that Gog has built.

ATTACK ON THE DEATH CAMP

The Special Forces unit and the Voun soldiers attack the death camp. First step in freeing the prisoners...

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Nineteen

Adam and Wills had sat quietly during Albert's visit. Now, they looked at the ravaged faces of Glenna, Ed, and Ann, and offered them their condolences.

Adam spoke up then, and said that we needed to get going to oversee the war and to help out with the prisoners at the internment camps; in our intensely emotional state we had forgotten for a moment what we were working for; our first priority-saving the Wales and freeing the slaves.

We hastily readjusted our attitudes, gathered our belongings and thought-traveled to the place we were needed the most.

Ed, Adam, and Wills went to the Wale-Selve border to be with the armies, and Ann and Glenna rejoined the other women as they sat in their truck near the border of Wale and Selve, waiting for their soldiers to defeat the Selve soldiers and then attack the internment camps.

The Special Forces and the soldiers of Voun converged on one another as they crossed the Selve border. They soon came to the camp of the Selve soldiers stationed on the Voun and Selve border. The Selve guards were all asleep at their posts. They crept to the edge of the Selve camp, and then attacked the Selve soldiers, who were deeply asleep, and annihilated those units of the Selve Army.

General Rand's and General Cummings' armies were doing well on the other side of Selve also. The Emon soldiers in their command had also found the Selve soldiers asleep-even the guards. Their's was a sizable slaughter but they also took 1,000 soldiers as prisoners.

The Voun, and Special Forces soldiers, marched on to the internment camps. Adam, Wills, Ed, and Bond led the men. When they were coming close to the camps, Wills asked for the men to stop a moment, and Adam called "Halt!"

"I am a Selve," stated Wills, "but I hate the ideas of Gog and want my country to be run by a democracy of the people.

"Anyway, I am green. My countrymen are green. I am asking that you put all of my Selve soldiers in the front lines. That way, the soldiers holding down the camps will think, at first, that we are compatriots and not shoot us. Then we will have a greater chance of mowing them down before they can get much damage done to our side."

"Excellent idea Wills! Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Oh, yes!"

General Coleman ordered that all Selve soldiers come to the front of the lines. When all of the Selves had been transferred to the front lines, Wills addressed them.

"As Selves, we watched Gog build his empire and continue to accumulate power and wealth. We knew that he was trying to kill all of the Wales. It is true that we formed a resistance army and fought him the best we could, but now we have the chance to do something for the future of Selve. Let us fight in the front and become the first to free the slaves and internees. Let us fight for the new Selve with all of our bodies and soul!"

All of the Selve soldiers took a step forward, in unison.

They came to the first camp and tore down the locked gate! Soldiers came pouring out of the buildings, some half-dressed, but they halted in mid-stride when they saw it was only other Selve soldiers up to mischief.

By the time Gog's soldiers stopped laughing and realized that the Selve soldiers they were seeing were actually the enemy, several hundred of Gog's soldiers were dead. It was at that moment that a message came through the public address system from the Selve's Chief Radioman.

"ATTENTION! ATTENTION! Gog has been assassinated! I say, Gog is dead, he has been assassinated! We are FREE!"

All of Gog's soldiers stopped in their tracks, then they all raised their hands and surrendered.

A radio message was sent to Lucy and Miriam that the camp had been captured so they could come ahead.

General Coleman handed over the camp to Bond, and then the Voun soldiers marched forward to Mano.

On the Western front, the Emon soldiers kept marching forward to Mano. They radioed General Coleman and asked to rendezvous at the Glandis River, northeast of Mano. General Coleman said "yes," and asked if they had lost any men yet.

The Emon soldiers said they had lost two men just over the border into Selve. General Coleman was very glad to hear that there were only two Emon soldiers that had lost their lives, and said that they had lost two dozen men between the Voun and Special Forces soldiers.

THE ASSASSINATION OF GOG

Tom, Ed, Adam, and Wills assassinate Gog.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Nineteen

Adam quietly opened the bedroom door and all four men walked softly towards a huge bed in the middle of the room. There were two people in the bed. Once their eyes had adjusted to the dim room they could clearly see the form of the rotund dictator. His famous mustache and stomach were unmistakable.

Suddenly, Thomas felt his chest explode in a flash of blinding hatred, and before he could comprehend what he was doing, he had pulled out his ray gun and pointed it at Gog's heart. Ed dove for Thomas' arm, but Thomas' finger had already pulled the trigger, and Gog's heart was cooked within his body.

Adam immediately shot Gog's wife.

Thomas was frozen. He had disobeyed ONE and interfered in the Korian's business. He had killed a person. He had killed a person in a terrible way. He was supposed to be the leader. He was supposed to be an ambassador of love.

Thomas slumped and walked slowly out of the Palace, followed by Ed, Adam, and Wills. Adam opened the front door, which two alert guards were guarding, and screamed at them that Gog had been assassinated. He then slammed the door shut and locked it, and followed Ed, Wills, and Tom to the backyard. Thomas looked like death itself.

Once on the outside of the Palace they held hands and Ed thought-traveled the four men back to the ship. Once there, Adam got on the radio and announced that Gog was dead; to go ahead with the attack on Selve; then he got on the radio to Glenna and Ann and told them to come back to the ship immediately, as Thomas had killed Gog himself.

Glenna and Ann were at the ship two minutes later. Glenna rushed to Thomas and took him in her arms as he sobbed out his guilt and remorse.

Suddenly, a bright light appeared in the ship. Out of the light came three archangels, with bolts of lightning coming from their presence. They took hold of Thomas, and then all four disappeared.

Ed took the screaming Glenna into his arms. He did not know how to comfort her. None of them understood what had just happened. Ed rocked Glenna in his arms and told her what had happened at the Palace. Then he reassured her that both he and Ann loved her, and that they would never leave her side. Finally, Glenna reached her reserves of strength and quieted herself down, but the tears would not stop flowing.

There was a knock on the door. Ed stood with ray gun drawn and cautiously opened the door. There stood Albert, our boss from Headquarters in Heaven. It had been Albert who had overseen our mission to Kor; who had trusted us to our first mission.

"Albert!" exclaimed Ed. "What are you doing here?"

"Let's all get inside and sit down, and I'll fill you in on your new status," stated Albert. Ed introduced Albert to Wills and Adam and explained that he was their boss from Heaven.

Albert explained that Tom had been taken back to Heaven to do solitude service in the main Temple. "He will stay in the Temple until he can center himself in love again, and come to find peace in his heart. Until he is healed, Tom and Glenna cannot communicate. In fact, Tom is strictly forbidden to get in touch with anyone, until he is well again.

                                                                  ________________

In Heaven, ONE speaks to Thomas in the Temple, while Thomas is in solitude, and tells him: I am ALL. That means that I am the positive and the negative. I understand rage and fury, but I choose love. I know and understand why you killed Gog. I know that it was an overwhelming compulsion that caused you to react and shoot Gog, but you are not playing a life game. You graduated to the third tier of Heaven and you represent me. I must punish you for breaking my laws, no matter the reason. You will live here in the Temple, in total solitude. You are free to raom the Temple, but you must not speak until your soul is cleansed. I know that the greatest pain for you right now is your separation from Glenna. Think about the consequences Thomas, but come to know that you are love and FORGIVE YOURSELF! And, oh yes...you can always have contact with ME. We can talk. I'll listen. You'll hear. You'll heal."

Tom was fitted with a golden crown with a single deep red ruby in its front. When his soul is once again free, the ruby will become a pure diamond.

Back at the ship, Albert continued, "now you three friends must push on together. Ed will be the new leader. Glenna, you will be second in command, and Ann, you will be third in command. I believe that you are in the middle of an attack on Selve and that all of your presences are needed. Therefore, I will leave you for now so that you can go back to your duties."

Albert gave Glenna, Ann, and Ed a hug and wished them the best of good fortune; he tipped his hat at Adam and Wills, then he simply disappeared and returned to Heaven.

Tomorrow we witness the attack on the death camps.

ON A QUEST TO KILL GOG

Tom, Ed, Adam, and Wills travel to Gog's Palace to kill Gog.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Ninteen

About 6:00 p.m., Sunday night, Adam, Wills, Tom, and Ed got together in a circle, held hands, turned on the invisibility, and Tom thought them back to the ship. They were very anxious to get to the ship and begin their operation. They did not realize how the hours would drag by until 3:00 a.m., came around.

Ed thought it might pass the hours more quickly if they took the ship on a short spin around the battle fronts to see how things were going.  Tom and Ed prepared the ship for take-off; they all strapped themselves into seat belts and harnesses, and then they were off over Wale. They saw that the country was very calm and that eased Adam's mind. They found the Voun soldiers spread thickly, about a mile east of the Voun-Selve border and all seemed calm there. Selve was crawling with Selve soldiers, particularly at the borders of Voun, Emon, and Wale. They were rushing around like ants who had just had their nest squashed by a human foot. About a mile south of the Wale-Selve border, Special Forces soldiers were getting ready for the final push, and a mile south of the Emon-Selve border all of the Emon soldiers were ready to march. We were all ready to make our move and Adam sent messages to all of the generals, Lieutenant Ted Stars, and Bond Boyd, telling them that everyone looked to be in perfect position and to just hold tight.

We landed the ship and shut off the power, then Ed brought out the sandwiches and salads that Ann had made for them, and so they relaxed and had a nice dinner.

Ed got together a number of interesting pieces of equipment: a small toilet plunger; a glass cutter; and a pocket knife, and then declared that he was ready. Everyone laughed at the plunger, but Ed said, "just wait and see."

Finally, it was 2:30 a.m., and the long wait was over. The four friends all got down on their knees and Tom prayed, "Dear Heavenly Father, go with us and lead us with your spirit in our heart of hearts. Thank you, Amen."

The four men climbed out of the ship and locked the hatch. Then holding hands and pushing the invisibility button, Tom and Ed, Adam and Wills, thought-traveled to the backyard of Gog's Palace.

At the Palace of Gog, the four men, dressed in black, with black knit headgear, approached the rear of the Palace. They stood still and listened to the night. There was no sound, except for insect music.

Ed snuck up to the door he had spied earlier. He set the bag he was carrying on the ground and pulled out the plunger. First, wetting its rim, next he pressed the plunger against the piece of glass that was next to the door lock, and it stuck tightly. Pushing the plunger securely to the window, he took out the glass cutter and cut the glass in a circle larger than the rim of the plunger, leaving a 1/4 inch piece of the glass uncut. He next took out his pocket knife, and still holding the plunger, hit the 1/4 inch piece of glass sharply and then pulled the plunger backward and the circle of glass came flying out of the window, still stuck to the plunger. Ed then put all the tools and the circle of glass back into his bag and quietly ditched the bag in some shrubbery nearby.

When Ed was done, he joined the other three men, and Tom reached in and unlocked the door.

Stealthily, they crept through the bottom floor but met only two sleeping guards. In a split second, Wills and Adam slit the throats of those guards.

There was no guard at the foot of the stairs so they stole up the stairs to the second floor, but no one was around there either, and they knew that Gog would insist on guards at his bedroom door, so they snuck very carefully up the second set of stairs and peeked over the top step. There they could see Gog's bedroom door with two sleeping guards sitting outside.

Wills crept along the side of the hallway on his hands and knees and shot both guards using a small .22 with a silencer. The other three men followed Wills down the hall. When all four were outside Gog's bedroom door, Adam spoke softly, "I call this. He wanted to destroy my people, so I will destroy him." The other three men agreed readily.

Tomorrow, a big surprise, who killed Gog?

GOG IS BOMBED BY THE SELVE CITIZENS

Gog is under attack in his own home by the citizens of Selve.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Eighteen

Gog swam from one end of his pool to the other; back and forth for an hour. Nothing seemed to satisfy his restlessness. He had tried pacing and lifting weights, but nothing worked.

He floated on his back and watched the clouds drift by. Suddenly, the clouds were torn apart with a huge fiery explosion and fire hung like strings in the air.

"What the hell!" blasted Gog. His wife came running from their house screaming bloody murder.

"Shut up, Berna! What's wrong?"

"We're being bombed! Didn't you see that bomb?"

"I saw fireworks. It's just someone playing around."

"Gog, you're not listening. All the help have been talking about terror in the streets. They say the people are revolting against your rule. What's going on?"

"Berna, no one can revolt against me because everyone who does is immediately shot, or hung. My soldiers are loyal to me and all of the people back my goal to annihilate the Wales.

"Trust me, Berna, we are safe here!"

"Gog, they say that you are starving the people. That you have locked up all the food."

"I locked up the food so I can feed my army; the army that protects the people's lives. If the people are hungry, then they can go fish or harvest kelp."

"Oh Gog, what about food for the children, and the elderly? They're helpless. Our servants say that we're the only ones that are eating at this time, and that the people will rise up and take our food away."

"My god, Berna, wouldn't I know it if there was trouble in the land?"

Gog dismissed Berna and floated over to the radio by the side of the pool. He called General Rusk and commanded him to come to the palace.

General Rusk was on hand before Gog finished drying off. Gog motioned the general to his patio table and followed him. Both men sat down, the general waiting for a moment before he sat down.

"Yes, Gog, how can I be of service to you?"

"What are these 'bombs' going off?"

"Sir, things are not going as well as we had hoped. I think we should have given the people rations. They've gone to the streets over food; or rather, the lack of it."

"No! No rations. No more discussion. let them eat fish and kelp. That's all their bodies need to function.

"Go through the streets and shoot down anyone rioting."

"Yes sir, but we may have a bit of a problem with that. When you forced enlistment on the people, it seems to have been the last straw for them. There are some firebrands that have rounded up weapons and joined forces and now they have even found a stock of our bombs. Anyway, they are now in control of some of the city blocks and they're gaining ground rapidly.

"They are attacking our soldiers and killing them. I have been told that their goal is to storm Burgess Hall and hand out all of the food.

"I do not like what I'm hearing, but I didn't want to tell you false information so I have waited until this moment."

"Humpf!"

Suddenly another bomb exploded in the air. It seemed to be a little closer than the one before.

"Damn it, General Rusk, take charge! You have plenty of ammunition and guns. Take your whole force and go show those bastards who rules Selve!"

"Yes sir, I will do your will and I will also surround your home with a unit of my best men. You and Berna should be safe."

"Safe? Safe? It has come down to this? That I who rule this land, and have all the power, should merely be SAFE?

"Are you still hanging resisters?"

"We've had a problem with that. It seems that at every hanging, the executioner is shot before he can hang the prisoner. We can't seem to catch the sharpshooter, and no one wants to be the executioner anymore."

"All you bring is bad news! Get out of here and create some good news. You're dismissed!"

Gog thought that it might be time to disappear. He had all the gold necessary to take care of himself for the rest of his life. He would disappear into the Vorask Forest one night very soon.

Tomorrow we find Adam, Wills, Tom and Ed preparing for their assassination of Gog.

ANN & GLENNA VISIT THE DEATH CAMP

Ann and Glenna have come to spy out the death camp and find out how the prisoners are doing. They are in invisibility mode.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of KOR...Chapter Eighteen

The gentleman in the bed we were standing beside suddenly went into a horrible round of coughing. We saw he had only one thin blanket that barely covered his shoulders and chest. His body was skin and bones and was shaking so hard that you could hear his bones knocking together.

This coughing seemed to increase and soon half of the persons in the barracks were also coughing. The guard jumped up from his chair and yelled at the top of his lungs, "SHUT UP! SHUT UP! Do you want a taste of my whip?"

There were terrible gasping and gurgling noises as the prisoners tried not to cough, but they could not stop the paroxysms and the coughs actually increased in volume.

The guard picked up his whip and began to go from bed to bed whipping blindly at all of the prisoners.

"Look, Ann, he's bleeding." The prisoner in the bunk we stood near, was coughing up blood. The guard reached his bed and laughed at the blood and said, "Double blows for you!" He proceeded to whip the poor prisoner until he was unconscious.

We were outraged, and felt like killing the guard ourselves, so we left the barracks as quickly as we came. We went into several other barracks. Some held all women, some held children, but most were filled with men. All of the prisoners were coughing and most of them were crying and begging to die.

Then we came across a large barrack filled with light and music. We looked through the windows and saw that there was a big party going on. There was beer and a band, many female prisoners, and soldiers who were off duty. The women seemed to be half-dressed, and the soldiers were pawing their bodies as they danced together.

We went through the rest of the compound stopping to look in each barrack. The scenes we saw were despicable. Everyone seemed to have deep, rumbling coughs, and almost everyone was moaning from pain. We saw a group of women staggering toward the latrines. The latrines were simply big buckets to use for all bathroom needs. They were gross, as they were only emptied once or twice a week, and they were constantly overflowing. You could not keep clean in the camps as there was nowhere to wash your hands or bodies. Another problem was eating with dirty hands. There was no silverware, you had to use your hands to eat. Gog really knew how to make a person feel like an animal-like a hog kept in his own feces day after day.

We found several weak spots in the fences surrounding the camps, and we saw that in the nighttime, the guards played games and drank, and only occasionally spent their time watching the prisoners.

We had found our answers, so we thought-traveled back to the ship, where Tom and Ed were talking over their experience. We traded stories and the boys were sick when they heard our story.

"Another week-or at least, five more days-and we assassinate Gog, attack the Selves, then free the Vouns, Wales, and Emons. Let's pray to ONE to protect us from the Selve soldiers. After our prayer, we went back to bed for a few hours of sleep and rest.

When we woke up we fixed breakfast with hot chocolate and began to gather all of the things we were taking with us; enough to last for several weeks. I made sandwiches and salads for the men when they came on Sunday, then Glenna and I cleaned up the ship. We were then ready to go back to the armory.

On Wednesday, the four of us traveled to the Wale armory. A lot was going on without us, and we were very happy. General Oates had moved the Emon soldiers, with food and supplies, from the Wale-Emon border, and the ocean border, marching them toward the Selve-Emon border. He had left the border at 5 a.m., on Monday. General Patrick had also moved the Voun soldiers off of the Voun-Wale border, and ocean borders, on Monday, and was pressing on to the Selve-Voun border, and Lieutenant Stars moved the Wale soldiers from the Wale-Voun, Wale Emon, and ocean borders, into the armory in Ento. All three leaders kept their eyes peeled for Selve soldiers and spies, and they were very successful; by Saturday, they had all killed a total of 2,000 Selve soldiers.

Adam, Wills, Tom and Ed spent the week on the radios in touch with all of the generals and officers of the URA, and keeping up a push-pin map-chart updated with their positions, and altercations with the enemy.

Adam kept trucks of food rolling on the soldier's route and supplemented it with trucks of fish, and sugar beets.

Finally, Saturday afternoon came, and General Coleman turned his job over to Lieutenant Ted Stars who was a really good man to leave in charge, and he did not worry while he was gone from the base.

On Sunday morning, at 8 a.m., Glenna, Miriam, Ann, Lucy, Alice and Molly all climbed into a big truck with all of their personal belongings and bedding, and followed after the Special Forces soldiers to the Selve-Wale border. They had also brought five large trucks filled with medicine, food, sugar, beets. bedding. and clean clothes for the prisoners.

Tomorrow Gog and his palace is under bombing attack from his own citizens.

CRASHING GOG'S PALACE

We find the enrgynauts off on their spying missions to Gog's Palace and the death camps.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Eighteen

Tom and Ed landed on the front lawn of Gog's palace. Although they were invisible, they were suddenly attacked by five fire lizards coming pell-mell toward them. Immediately, Tom and Ed pushed the button to make them shoot up in the air; just in time, as the lizards attempted to attack their ankles. Soldiers came racing after the lizards and found nothing but the lizards going crazy over thin air. "Calm down, you ignorant worms," shouted the soldiers as they grabbed the lizard's collars and drug them around to the back of the palace. Tom and Ed stayed up in the air and followed the lizards to see where their homes really were The lizards were allowed to roam the ground at will and were trained to come when they heard a whistle.

Tom and Ed looked over the entire outside of the palace and realized that there really were very few people around the building. They saw the front door and the back door, and several side doors. There was a soldier stationed at each door, heavily armed and wearing a large whistle, to call the lizards with, but the house seemed very quiet and still, and most of the guards seemed to be falling into a deep slumber.

Tom quietly walked past a sleepy guard, and tried the handle of the side door. It opened easily and quietly, and Tom motioned for Ed to follow him. They found themselves inside a dining room with no one around, and began to walk all over the first floor. No one seemed to be home, but they found the kitchen which had several windows that went from the floor to the ceiling. They investigated the lock on a windowed door and thought that it would be perfect to break in there.

They left the kitchen and soon found themselves in the entry hall with a huge staircase that led up to two more floors. A soldier sat in a chair, tipped back, at the bottom of the stairs. He snored deeply and his chair almost lost its hold on the floor, but he righted himself, and fell back to sleep.

Tom and Ed snuck up the stairs managing not to hit a stair that squeaked. The second floor had five bedrooms and six bathrooms, but no soldier guarded any of the rooms, so they continued up to the third floor. There, they saw three soldiers guarding closed double doors. Tom went out on the landing and began to scream loudly. Everyone came awake at once. Chairs clunked as they fell, and suddenly four soldiers were running around in circles looking for a screamer that seemed to have disappeared. Tom and Ed pressed their ears against the double doors that led to Gog's bedroom, and could hear Gog talking to himself and moving around the room..

Success; now they knew where to find Gog and how to handle his soldiers. They imagined that at 3:00 in the morning all of the guards would be in a deep sleep. They should have no problem accessing Gog and taking care of him before the guards or lizards could begin to think straight. Tom and Ed thought themselves back to the ship and waited for the girls to return.

                                                           ___________

Glenna and I thought-traveled to a quarter of a mile from the internment camps; we put on our invisibility and walked to the camps. We could hear moans and groaning and sobs as we walked carefully to the edge of the camp.

We could see guard towers at every corner of the compound. Suddenly, a pack of fire lizards appeared and began to tear the fence apart where we were standing. They made loud shrill screeches and a group of soldiers came running up to the fence. They couldn't see anything bothering the lizards, so they grabbed them by the collars and dragged them back to their guard posts.

"Wow! That was close. I guess that the lizards must be able to see us, or smell our presence," said Glenna.

We continued walking until we came to what must be the front gate. It had a sign on it that said SELVE CAMP #1. We pushed on the gate and it was locked, so we pushed our float button, rose up in the air, and then came down on the other side of the fence. We saw a long line of barracks and entered the first barracks we came to.

There was a candle on a table in the middle of the room, and a Selve guard sitiing in a chair next to the table.

We tiptoed over to what looked like a three-tier bunk bed. The room was lined with bunk beds that were made out of raw lumber, and had no mattress, or pillow on them.

The gentleman in the bed we were standing beside suddenly went into a horrible round of coughing. He began to cry because of the pain of coughing.

Tomorrow we follow Glenna and Ann as they experience the death camp for themselves.

THE POWER OF LOVE

Good Sunday to you, my friend! I hope that all is well in your life and that you receive the richest blessings that this world has to give; and may you be blessed by the knowledge that God loves you just the way you are right now.

Love is not a weak, ephemeral feeling, but the great FORCE, the great energy, that runs the Cosmos; that is the Cosmos; that is God.

The following is from a letter that I recently wrote to my granddaughter, Sheera, when she was feeling down about herself:

Dear heart, my song of love, don't beat yourself up about anything.

We are our own worst enemy and guilt sucks. It sucks the joy out of our lives; and makes us feel negative about our selves. Never let your own thoughts make you feel bad about who you are.

I'm telling you, you are a very powerful person (we all are). When you choose the positive, or love, you can conquer anything and no one can stand in your way.

Anyone who abuses you will suffer consequences until they choose the positive.

Choose your words carefully because what you say will happen. And with this power, if you send out negative vibes, negative things will happen-not only to the other person, but back around to bite you in the ass.

You are a queen and if you go for love and positive power, you will be blessed with all the truly good things of life and become a person filled with joy.

Of course, there is the principle that with great love there is also great pain-on this earth, not in Heaven-so that a strong person must go through a fire and also Mr. Satan rears his beautiful head and tempts us to do negative actions. He loves to see us get bitten in the ass.

Anyway, you have a great power and I am very proud that you are my granddaughter and very proud of what you are accomplishing in life.

Love, Grandma Dukes

THE ENERGYNAUTS PLOT SPY MISSIONS

Today we find the energynauts plotting spy missions to prepare to kill Gog and attack the death camps.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Eighteen

Glenna spoke up then and said, "Ann, Miriam, Lucy, Alice, Molly, and I will take a car from Ento to where the Special Forces unit is waiting, on the Wale-Selve border. We will leave at 8 a.m., on next Sunday morning and we will be followed by trucks carrying medical supplies and clean clothes and blankets. We will follow the Special Forces unit to the internment camps, and give aid and guidance to the inmates once they are liberated.

"Bond will lead the Special Forces to victory and General Patrick will lead the Voun forces into Selve and then march on to Mano, while General Oates will lead the Emon contingent across the Emon-Selve border and all the way into Mano."

"Where will Julie and Trev be during this war?" asked Adam of Molly.

"Well, Willow has offered to take care of them while I'm gone," answered Molly.

"Good," said Adam. "I also want to give you my condolences on the loss of your husband, Rave."

"Thank you very much," said Molly, "my heart is sad, but he had been totally supportive of Gog. He actually loved Gog, there was a lot of trouble between us over the subject. I will be fine, and I am at peace over his loss, the children are, of course, very upset and will miss him terribly."

"Does anyone have anything else they need to address?" asked Tom. No one else raised their hand, so Tom dismissed us for the day. We all worked together to clean up the ship, then Tom, Ed, Glenna, and I took our friends home.

                                                                     __________

When we had left our friends at their home, or base, the four of us returned to the ship to go over all of the plans coming up for us.

We slept deeply that night, snuggled in our own beds, and didn't wake up until 8:00 Monday morning.

We got up and ate a large breakfast of cantaloupes, rolls, and green tea. The we sat around in our night clothes and discussed what lay ahead of us.

Tom spoke up first, "I will be sticking with Wills as we plot our plan to exterminate Gog. I believe that I will travel to Gog's Palace and see what the lay of the land is there. I shall be invisible, and am hoping that everything is not locked up so that I can travel freely where ever I desire to go."

"If you don't mind Tom, I would like to travel with you," suggested Ed.

"That would be great Ed. I'm sure things will go better if we travel together. Of course, we'll have to watch our talking so that the Selves won't hear us.

"How about you ladies, what are you planning to do?" asked Tom.

"We have been talking about going to the internment camps and seeing how they are set up; where the soldiers bunk and eat their meals; where their guard posts are situated; when the soldiers stand guard; and when they have a changing of the guards. We hope to spot their weaknesses so we can take advantage of them when we attack," explained Glenna.

"Wow, I'm really impressed ladies. That will be a major undertaking. Please be very careful," said Tom.

"You two will also be in great danger. Please be careful also," I said.

"We are fortunate that we can think our way out of any danger by using thought-travel; as can you. So I am not really too worried about any of us getting into trouble," explained Ed.

"I think we should take today to plan our missions and rest so that we can deal with any hard work or situation we come upon," I suggested.

"Seconded," said Ed and Glenna at once.

Glenna and I sat in the dining nook, and the boys sat at the map table and we all put steps together to make a workable plan of action.

The we ran our plans past each other.

"Tom and I will think our way to Gog's palace. There, we will search the grounds to see where the soldiers are posted. Then I'd like to see inside the palace and discover where the lizards are kept and if any are kept inside the palace," said Ed.

Glenna said that as far as the internment camps went we would walk around the camps looking for where the guards are stationed and for any weaknesses in their defenses. Then we would enter the barracks and try to assess the health and strength of the prisoners. Would they have the strength required to get out of bed and walk out of the camps? Or will we have to feed them and bring doctors in to take care of their physical traumas before they can move at all?

"So, we rest today," said Tom. "Just kick back and think about what we're going to be doing and imagining any problems or dangers that might arise. Then, early tomorrow morning when it is still black outside, we'll go on our investigative journeys."

Glenna and I took long baths and curled our hair. We washed the clothes we would be wearing for the week, and then started poached bass in our special oven. We finished dinner at 6:00 p.m., and then cleaned up the kitchen, played a few hands of Canasta-Glenna won-and then we went to bed for a few hours.

We got up really early, at 2:00 a.m., ate a solid breakfast, and we were ready to go on our adventures by 3:00 a.m.

We locked up the ship, shook off our morning doldrums, hugged our partners, and then Tom and Ed headed to Gog's palace, and Glenna and I thought-traveled to the internment camps in the Southeast quarter of Selve.

Tomorrow I will be sharing with you a letter I wrote to my beautiful granddaughter, Sheera, about the power of the human soul and how to win in life.

TAKING THE SPACESHIP INTO OUTER SPACE

We find the leaders and the energynauts at their third meeting aboard the space ship discussing war plans and preparing for another trip on the space ship.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Eighteen

"My soldiers in the Special Forces unit will first of all be caring for, and protecting, the inhabitants of the internment camps. We will need to have a huge burial task force, and then we will need to help the inmates get back home again. When we are through addressing these problems, then we can march on to Mano if you still need help," offered Bond.

"Miriam, what do you have to say?" asked Tom.

"I am very proud of the reactions of my people and soldiers. The soldiers are ready to start marching tomorrow morning and they are really anxious to begin. I am also glad that Sam has volunteered the soldiers for temporary duty in Selve and we can also provide food and salt for the Selves once the war is over," replied Miriam.

Ed spoke up at that moment and said that he was so glad that we had been sent to Kor, that the people were worthy of all our help and were showing themselves to be heroes of the highest order.

"Does anyone have anything to add?" asked Tom.

No one responded further, so Tom said that we could relax and have lunch and then go for a flight over all of the borders of Kor.

Glenna and I prepared and served scalloped potatoes, poached sea bass, tossed salad, almond string beans, and cheescake covered with fresh pitted cherries for dessert.

We had a long, leisurely, lunch and we had all become such close friends that it was almost a celebratory event. All of our adrenaline had begun to pump and we almost wished that this was the day we attacked Selve.

After cleaning up lunch, Tom, Ed, Glenna, and I, went ahead and prepared for the flight. Everyone fastened their seat belts and harnesses; we locked up everything that was loose; and then we were ready to go.

Once again, we shot up high and made a single trip around all of Kor. It looked so peaceful from the air. Then, Tom guided the ship to a hundred feet above the ground. We were in invisible mode. We started over Wale and searched the land between Wale and Selve. We were unable to spot any spies between Selve and north Wale because the tree canopy was too dense in that area.

We flew low over Voun and we were able to see the Selve troops lined up along her borders. We could see trucks carrying food to the mess tents set up along the Mondel River and along the ocean borders.

Next, we flew low over the internment camps and saw even more bodies stacked to dizzying heights. We worried that we might lose a lot more of the internees before next week. We all prayed that  we would not be too late to save most of their lives.

We flew over Selve and saw that her borders were covered with Gog's soldiers, armed to the hilt. There seemed to be a lot more soldiers then we had anticipated. In Mano soldiers were marching in the streets and on some streets, crowds had gathered and were pelting soldiers with whatever they could get their hands on.

We witnessed one incident where the soldiers turned on the crowds and opened fire. We saw dozens drop before the rest of the crowd ran off to another corner to harass the soldiers there.

Selve seemed to be in turmoil, and Wills was plainly distraught. "Just one more week, and I pray for order," he said.

We crossed into Emon and saw the huge build-up of Selve soldiers on her border. Lucy looked worried, but she had a lot of faith in generals Oates, Rand, and Cummings and her soldiers. As we passed Emon's ocean borders, and along the Lantel River, we saw her troops training and Lucy seemed reassured.

We then had a pretty good idea of where everything laid and Tom decided to take us on a trip into outer space away from Kor's gravity.

We flew around the planet Notel, looking for life of any kind. It seemed to be a barren planet, except that there were two oceans and two land masses. We wondered if there might be life in her oceans, but the land masses had no trees or grass so we thought it unlikely that there was life, as we knew it, on the land.

Finally, we returned to the ship's base, unstrapped our belts and harnesses, and relaxed.

Tom called us to order again, and then he began to speak. "Next Sunday we will all be involved with the war and only Adam, Wills, Ed, and I will come to the ship and take her for a trip around the borders to see what the status is. We will then send the rest of you a message with the new radio system that General Coleman has perfected. Now, all of our troops will be in constant touch with each other, and you will all hear me when I tell you that it is time to attack; that Gog is dead."

Tomorrow the energynauts make plans to take spy missions to Gog's Palace and to the death camps, to assess the dangers to be faced there.

THE THIRD MEETING AT THE SPACESHIP

The 15 leaders meet for the third time on the spaceship and work out details of the attack on Selve. They go for their second spaceship road trip.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Eighteen
Tom opened the hatch, and we all went inside the ship and took our usual seats. Trev and Julie sat in the dining nook and we put on the movie, Pinocchio, for them, and gave them a plate full of brownies and glasses of grape juice.

"I am so glad to see all of you," said Tom, "We are on the brink of conflict; a week from tonight we kill Gog, attack Selve, and free the concentration camps. I'd like to know how prepared you are feeling, and what you have accomplished so far.

"Adam, would you go first, and tell us about how you are feeling?"

"Sure. We sent out 100 spies on Tuesday morning. We have heard back from 80 of them and they have seen the enemy and killed 60 of their spies. Wills, Bond, and Tom captured two Selve spies and shot them on sight.

"All four thousand men that will be in the Special Task Force are ready and willing to begin marching toward the Selve internment camp immediately. I have to reign-in their enthusiasm a little bit. They are worried that a friend or relative may die before we can free them. I tell them that we will receive a signal that tells us that now is the best time to move.

"On Monday, tomorrow, before dawn, I am starting all 4,000 Special Forces soldiers marching toward the concentration camps in Selve. We will camp a mile from the Selve border and await the signal to cross into Selve, attack their soldiers, and free all of the prisoners.

"Wale will be guarded by the 4,000 soldiers in the Wale Army led by Lieutenant Ted Stars.

"We have a full complement of weapons for each of our soldiers. They have spent days working on the firing range and becoming proficient with their weapons.

"We have extra weapons, blankets, and medical supplies, and a constant stream of trucks bringing us food and other supplies.

"I feel that we are as ready as we'll ever be, and I am also itching to start moving."

"Thank you Adam. Your opinion carries a lot of weight with all of us," said Tom.

There was a chorus of support for Adam after Tom spoke.

"Lucy, why don't you tell us if you are on track, or if you need any more help?" asked Tom.

"I am bursting with pride about how our citizens responded. We had no trouble getting new recruits; in fact, we gathered more than were necessary. We have 5,000 soldiers ready to march on Selve tomorrow morning.

"Our citizens were able to gather many weapons that they gave us to use, and Wills and Miriam have provided 3,000 weapons, so we are fine as far as weapons go. Our people have given us food from their gardens, and our fishermen are providing fresh fish daily, in order to feed the soldiers, but our greatest help has come from Adam. He has been sending truck loads of grain and vegetables to our soldiers."

"He does the same for my soldiers," said Miriam. "He is a true blessing."

"Ladies, it is not just the goodness of my heart," said Adam, "I have a lot of good, basic food and I want all of our soldiers to be well fed so that we can win this war. I have been told that an army marches on its stomach and I believe that's true."

"Well, it seems true to me," Lucy replied. "The people are so supportive of our plans that they are volunteering their time and money. Now we are ready to start marching tomorrow morning and we are in a very good state of mind."

Tom said, "That's just great Lucy, now Wills, how are things going for you?"

"I have very little left to do," said Wills. "All of my soldiers are being trained well and our present maneuvers are helping them to become razor sharp.

"They are now under the command of Bond and he is single-minded in his determination to capture the camps.

"I have been working on a plan to re-organize, and help the Selve citizens, once we have deposed Gog and beaten his army. I need to have a plan of action so that I can come to the rescue of the Selve people as soon as possible after their defeat."

"One thing I can do is supply fresh food and fish to the Selve people until they can get back on their feet," stated Adam.

"Adam, that is great of you. Without such help, I cannot possibly get the people to stop fearing their new leaders; you and me. If one is hungry it would be very hard to listen to and accept a new direction for Selve," said Wills.

"I thought that we might leave our soldiers in Selve for at least as long as it takes to set up a representative government there. They will need guidance until the lawlessness is brought under control," offered General Patrick.

"That is a very good idea Sam. Lucy, how would you feel about leaving your soldiers in Selve for a short period of time?" asked Tom.

"I would be glad to help also. After all, none of us are going to feel safe until Selve is back in order and hopefully a new democracy," answered Lucy.

"I am so proud of you, thinking about helping what is now our enemy. You are all to be congratulated," remarked Tom.

Tomorrow we have the second space flight and the new observations they make as they circle the planet.

GLENNA COMES TO THE AID OF MIRIAM

Tom & Ed take their charges back to the space ship & Glenna finishes her road trip with Miriam.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Seventeen

TOM:

Sunday morning at 6:30, we all gathered on the parade ground ready to take our trip to the ship.

Ed took Adam, Lieutenant Stars, and Bond Boyd, and I had Wills, Molly, Julie, and Trev. We all said a short prayer, pressed our invisibility buttons, and thought our way to the ship where Lucy, Ann, and Alice were waiting.

GLENNA:

About 4:00 p.m. on Monday, I made my appearance at the Supreme Court Building and Miriam answered her office door with a big smile.

"Come on in Glenna. Have a seat and make yourself comfortable. I have one more court appearance today and then I'll be free to go on the road again.

While she was in court, I sat in Miriam's office and poured over topographical maps of Kor. It was a very diverse land.

When Miriam was finished in court, she came back to her office and made a few phone calls, then we walked to her home.

Mr. and Mrs. Stevens, Miriam's butler and maid, had fixed a superb dinner of salmon, baked potatoes, corn, and lemon meringue pie. We ate as if we were starved.

After dinner, we listened to the radio and caught a speech by Gog. He was bragging that Selve had a larger army and more power than Voun, Emon, and Wale put together.

Gog reminded his people that the price of not serving in the army was to be hanged and he assured them that they would soon have an overflow of food, just trust in his power. Miriam switched channels to a classical music station and we began to relax.

The next days were spent on the road between the Marbis and Mondel Rivers. We were able to sign up 900 soldiers and 60 officers. The recruiters in Piers were having even better luck, altogether we had recruited a total of 3,500 soldiers and 200 officers.

One day, as we were driving, we came upon the bridge that had to be closed because of damage. We took the opportunity to find the best alternative route for General Patrick.

We saw a convoy of trucks carrying food and supplies to General Drang and General Wells. Miriam was now very happy, as she had been worried about having enough food to feed 5,000 soldiers.

General Drang and General Wells had very successfully marched the soldiers in their care to the ocean borders of Voun. As new men signed up they were sent to their officers in Piers, who would then have them driven to join either General Drang or General Wells.

On Wednesday, Miriam heard the word that the weapons for Lucy's troops had been finished and were ready for delivery. Miriam ordered a large truck with 10 soldiers to take the guns to Delta, ASAP.

On Thursday, we saw a large convoy of trucks from General Coleman that held fresh fruits, vegetables, and grains. We stopped the convoy and asked if this were a one-time shipment, or if there would be more food coming? The head driver, a staff sergeant, explained that General Coleman would be supplementing our food supplies for the duration of the war. Miriam was overwhelmed by General Coleman's generosity.

Finally, on Saturday afternoon, we drove back to Piers and began to prepare to return to the ship in the morning.

Miriam called for General Patrick, and he filled her in on where all the troops were stationed. He explained that all but 500 soldiers had been sent to the front and were being trained as they set up camp, practiced at the firing range, and learned how to drill properly. He felt very confident that his soldiers would all perform to the best of their abilities because they burned to destroy Gog, and rescue their missing family members.

We slept well that night and woke up at 5:30 a.m. to prepare to go back to the ship.

Miriam went through all of her notes to make sure that she could accurately explain where her soldiers were and all that was going on in Voun. She felt a great deal of confidence in General Patrick and she knew that he was on top of protecting and defending Voun.

At 6:30 a.m., General Patrick knocked on Miriam's front door. He was very excited about seeing the ship again, and could hardly wait until we took another flight.

At 6:59 a.m., we said a short prayer, held hands, I pressed the invisibility button, and then thought us back to the ship. We were the last arrival, and everyone was very excited to see us.

WILLS GIVES MOLLY THE BAD NEWS

Today Wills gives Molly and the children the bad news of their father's death and Ed returns to the Wale Armory.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Seventeen

Early the next morning I was awakened by Wills tapping me on the shoulder. His face looked drawn and gray. "Tom, wake up Tom, I need to talk to you."

I got right up, dressed quickly, and then followed Wills to his room, which was now deserted.

"Tom, I don't know what to do. I went to see Molly, and we went for a walk and a talk. I told her that Bond and I had killed two of Gog's spies, She said that was good, but why such a gloomy face?"

I pulled out the pictures and gave them to her. "These are the two men we killed," I said.

I heard a rasping gasp as Molly looked at the pictures and then swayed and almost fell. I grabbed her and she apologized, then let out a huge tearful moan.

"Wills, oh Wills. It's Rave. One of those men is Rave. He's dead. Oh what am I going to do? How can I tell the children?"

"I'll help you Molly. We can tell the children together."

"I don't ever want them to know that you may have killed their father. I don't want to think it myself," cried Molly.

"I'm going to tell them that he was shot as a spy by one of General Coleman's soldiers, and just leave it at that."

Molly and I walked back to General Coleman's home and called for the children to come and walk with us. We took them about a mile to the Lora River and walked along the shore line. When we came to some benches we all sat down and Molly brought out the pictures.

"Trev, Julie, I have some really bad news for you; for us. On Tuesday, General Coleman sent spies out to see if there were any of Gog's spies infiltrating Wale, or Emon, or Voun. They found two spies and shot them. When they brought the pictures of them back to the General, I recognized one of the spies.

"It was a picture of your father and his partner. Your father is dead. I am so sorry."

Trev and Julie looked at the pictures then dissolved into tears and put their arms around their mother. I felt terrible as I watched their sorrow. I wish that I could sink into the ground.

I finally took Molly, Trev, and Julie back to General Coleman's house. I stayed for the next several hours and took turns turns with Molly comforting the children and holding them on our laps.

"At 10 a.m., I went to bed, but I was soon up again and I have been pacing the floor ever since," said Wills.

"Is Molly angry with you?"

"She doesn't appear to be, but given time to think I'm afraid she will be."

"Wills, my heart goes out to you; you did what you had to do. It is certainly not your fault that Rave was a spy for Gog. My advice to you is to forgive yourself and let time pass to heal Molly, and Trev, and Julie. This is war, and bad things happen to people in war. Given a few months time, Molly and the children will come around and love you again. Have patience Wills, all will work out for you and we have a war to win in the meantime."

ED:

I arrived at the armory at 4 p.m., and went to check in with Adam. He was busy with administrative work, but he got up when he saw me and gave me his famous bear hug.

"Well, my friend, all I have is 'grunt work' for you to do, but it is important grunt work, nothing can get done without it."

"Don't worry Adam, all work is honest and I'm just happy that I can be a part of this work. What would you like me to do?"

"Keep in touch with Lieutenant Lunt and act as his superior-which you are. Double-check that the base with all of its grounds and outhouses and latrines are kept sanitary and sparkling; you delegate, then leave it in Lieutenant Lunt's hands, then go around on constant inspections to check for problems and needs. Let me know if there is a problem that you can't solve on your own. Do you understand that this is a great responsibility? If we allow the base to deteriorate, then sickness can spread when we need all the men to be strong and well."

So from Monday afternoon to Saturday night I made rounds inspecting the base. But I believe in encouragement rather than punishment to get men to work, so the men and I got along famously and we all wanted to be proud of our work, and our base.

Tomorrow Tom and Ed get ready to return to the space ship with their friends and Glenna goes to help Miriam.

TOM, WILLS & BOND GO ON A SPY MISSION

First, let me apologize for not having a blog up yesterday and for being so late today in getting my new blog up. Our Comcast went down yesterday leaving us with no television or computer services.

Today Tom, Wills, & Bond start on their spy mission to detect if there are any infiltrators from Gog's army in the land of Wale and surrounding Vulpan.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Seventeen

We started out Tuesday morning at 5 a.m., before Veral had risen. It was cool and damp and little rocks constantly slipped under our feet. By noon we had crossed the Lora and Specto Rivers and followed the Specto River around Wale's mountain ranges. We stopped for lunch before we left the river, which had become a navigable stream as it rose to its source in the foothills of the Wale Mountains.

We looked out over the forest that lay ahead of us. There was no telling where Gog's men could be. So far they had seen no signs of his men's presence. But another turn could show up the enemy.

We saw an opening in the pines before us, and when we investigated we found a primitive path probably used by the forest creatures.

The trees were so thick that very little Veral light came through. The darkness made it hard to see the ground in front of us, so we walked very carefully one foot in front of the other.

We pressed on for several hours until it became too dark to continue. Then we ate our cold dinner of tuna and hard-boiled egg salad, pumpernickel bread, celery, oranges and apple juice. There was a bag of chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

We made up our beds and called it a night. The new spring weather had taken the chill off the ground and the air around us was sweet and warm. We fell asleep immediately.

We woke when Veral began to rise. We quickly ate breakfast and cleaned up our area. We pressed on and walked for many hours, stopping only to eat a good lunch

We began to walk around Vulpan an hour after lunch and we had been making good progress when we suddenly heard voices ahead of us. Wills signaled us to be quiet and to walk softly into the trees. We all disappeared in an instant, and once we had cleared enough space to avoid being seen, we got down on  our stomachs and watched the trail.

Soon, two men came walking down the trail. They were Gog's men and they were arguing about Gog. The taller man was passionately arguing that Gog was a great blessing to all of Selve while the other man made rude noises.

Wills motioned for me to stay down and he motioned to Bond to follow him.

The woods became silent as the two voices walked out of earshot. There was deep silence as I felt my aloneness in these woods. Where were Wills and Bond? What about the two Selve spies?

RATaTaTaTaTa! RATaTaTaTaTa! The sound exploded through the trees. I heard the Selve spies's screams, then prayers to die, and then deep silence again.

Suddenly, Wills and Bond stood in front of me. I jumped to my feet. "What's going on? Was that you?"

"We shot the Selve spies," said Wills.

"That was you?"

"Yes; who else?"

"Where are they?"

"They're where we left them."

"Shouldn't we do something with them?"

"Well, come with us, and we'll dispose of them."

So we started down the trail until we saw two heaps of green and black lying on the ground. Wills poked the bodies with his rifle and there was no response so Bond and Wills dragged the bodies off the trail and into the forest.

When they came back on the trail they had papers in their hands. I asked them what they had and they showed me the spies' identity papers. Wills unfolded the papers in his hand and read the name, Bob Thiel, of Mano, Selve. Bond opened the papers he had, and the name he read was Rave Gilbert, of Mano, Selve.

At first I didn't make any connections to the names, but something was nudging the back of my mind...Rave; Molly's husband's name was Rave. Could it be the same person? I looked up into Wills' eyes, but he was just staring at Bond.

"Wills," I said, "Wills, do you think this Rave could be Molly's husband?"

Wills looked at me with a blank stare. "I don't know," he said, "I think maybe it is. This is really going to hurt Molly. Just think, it might have been my bullet that killed Rave. Molly will never forgive me. I wish we could take a picture of their faces so we could make sure."

"I have a camera built into my Auto-GPS on my operational belt; I'll go take a picture of both of them," I said.

After taking the pictures, I walked back to the trail and handed them to Wills. Wills put them in his back pack and said that we would call it a day. He felt that there was no point in going any farther along this trail because Gog would spread his spies over a large area and wouldn't have anyone else come down this same trail.

As we walked back down the trail again, Wills kept to his own thoughts and Bond and I were also silent. I knew Wills must be very conflicted and that he had a hard task in front of him, so I left him alone to his thoughts.

When we reported back to General Coleman, on Friday night, we told him about the two spies we had killed. It seems we were not the only ones to find and kill a Selve spy. Five groups of our soldiers had discovered, and then killed, ten of Gog's spies, and most of the groups had yet to return.

Wills asked Adam if he could go to visit Molly at his home that evening, and Adam said that he would be honored. He invited Wills to spend the night, and Wills said that would be great.

Tomorrow Wills breaks the news of the death of Rave Gilbert to Molly and the children.
