THE GOD GAMES: Heaven and Hell...CHAPTER ONE (CONT.)...Glenna and I entered the room to find it comfortably furnished with plush couches in front of a large viewing screen. There were also tables with bowls of fresh fruit and nuts on them, and pitchers full of water and iced pomegranite juice.
Glenna told me to sit and down and relax, and showed me where to insert the game cartridge into the wooden box by the side of my couch. She explained that I would guide the choice of past lives for viewing by simple thought commands. She suggested that I start from the beginning of my creation, and proceed from one life to the next in simple order. She told me she would be near if I had any questions, and that I could stop viewing if I had any problems remembering life games that had been safely stored away in the archives.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, then opened my eyes to a scene of brilliant white light. Flames erupted, and a single burning ember was separated from the center of the brilliant white light.
"ONE:
"I AM:
"I AM LOVE.
"YOU ARE ONE:
"YOU ARE LOVE."
Suddenly the bright light disappeared and all around was turmoil and such pain. I took a breath and it burned my lungs, but it was followed by fresh, cool air. I screamed, and then heard soothing sounds as I was clutched and held by a woman I knew to be my mother.
There followed 20 other short life games as I learned to survive my first breath.
I lived a hunderd flash-lives as a blade of grass, an ant, a bee, a flower, and so forth, as I learned patience and obedience. I was beginning to notice and react to different frequencies.
There were life games filled with poverty and loss.
There was a life on a planet in a red galaxy.
I was a Greek girl with poems, running to hid them from her sisters.
I had been a black, male slave in the salt mines of northern Africa.
I was a Chinese girl cringing in a pile of straw waiting for a war lord's men to destroy her father's shed.
I had been an early pioneer woman of Iowa with eleven children.
I had been a very ill man working for the railroad, digging tunnels through mountains.
Some of the lives had only one great moment; some with not even one half-great moment, but I began to experience moments of joy and love.
I won none of these past life games-none at all-although I did grow and advance spiritually. I had no idea of who I was or why I came there; no concept of a great game.
Now, here I was on the Isle of Purpose, ready to choose another life game. Could I choose a path this time that would lead to a win of the game? I knew that I must put all of my strengths together, and all of my hard-won wisdom from these past games, if I choose to triumph over my own self and return home a winner, never to leave home again...unless I choose to.
The responsibility of all this choosing business is daunting. I know that to be able to choose is ONE'S (God's) greatest gift to each of us, but the consequences of an unwise choice is so far-reaching and we so often trample all over every opportunity that comes our way in life games. It would be so much easier to win a life game if a game manual were issued to us at birth, but oh no, not a clue is given. However, on reflection we are not left alone to our own devices-at least not entirely- for we have this mysterious sensation in our mid-chests that burns with fiery joy when we hear truth or feel love.
Finally, I got through all of my past life games but I was overwehelmed by the stress of seeing so much pain and worry; so little progress. I felt discouraged and turned to find Glenna..
"Am I ever going to win the game?"
"Yes, Ann. Yes you are, and this time you can choose to win the game before you die and come back home, but such a final game takes a lot of planning and you will have to ovecome many challenges to do so."
"Can you help me and guide me in making my choices? I asked.
"Ann, I can help you see a path and a pattern here, but once you start your life game you are on your own as far as choosing how to follow your path. But Ann, remember that you are always one with ONE, and all you have to do is ask and you will be given."
Then we laid back and relaxed and enjoyed the music and the refreshments. I do so like to eat.
As I relaxed, I began to wonder how everything got started. I remembered my Heavenly Father saying that after he had created all, he had felt lonely and bored as he had no one to share his creations with.
