GLENNA'S ADVENTURE IN VOUN

Today we follow Glenna as she proceeds to Voun and her meeting with Miriam Lofts, a judge on the Voun Supreme Court.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of KOR...Chapter Seven

When Ed finished speaking, we all thanked him for doing so well, and then took a short refreshment break. Glenna and I made hot chocolate and put a plate of peanut butter cookies on the table.

After the break we all felt stronger and we asked Glenna to tell us her story.

GLENNA:

Glenna smiled and said that she had had a wonderful visit with Miriam, and then began her story.

The land of Voun is beautiful, with steep mountains and deep ravines. I pushed the button on my belt to float and wound my way through the mountain passages. The valleys and fields were covered with wild flowers of every color and variety.

I came to a salt mine and watched the activity as the Vouns cut and shaped the salt for sale. I sat on a large, flat rock to watch them and ate the figs, rye bread, and pomegranate juice I had brought with me.

After lunch, I crossed the Marbis River at a bridge and was almost to the outskirts of Piers-the capital of Voun-when I saw a figure walking through the heather. I quickly stopped, still invisible, and watched this gentle, stooping figure walking the almost invisible paths across the mountain side. I heard her speak, "Oh, Heavenly Father, what can I do to preserve my people and help out the Emons and Wales-especially the Wales. We have a lot of dedicated soldiers in the VRM, but where do we go from here? Gog's men are ruthless and have no natural feelings-it seems to me-how can we stand alone against them?"

I knew instinctively that this woman must be Miriam, and so I walked 100 feet in front of her and turned my invisibility off. Then I began to softly whistle and walk in her direction. She looked up startled and gasped, "Who are you?" and immediately stopped walking.

"Do not be afraid," I said, "my name is Glenna and I didn't realize that anyone else came to this spot to walk and think."

"My name is Miriam; I am a judge in Voun. I come here to work out my problems and legal issues."

"As it happens, I am looking for a woman by the name of Miriam Lofts, who is also a judge in Piers."

"Oh!" gasped Miriam, "but I am Miriam Lofts, who are you?"

"Miriam, could we sit down somewhere and talk?"

Miriam led me over to a cluster of smooth rocks and we both sat down and stared at each other. It was warm on the side of the mountain and there were flowers of pink and purple covering the hills. I saw a Kimodo Dragon-like creature lumber by on his way to a distant watering hole.

I spoke first. I stretched out my hands, palms up, and said, "Do not be afraid Miriam, I have come from God to help you, and all of Voun, defeat the dictator, Gog. I have been told to seek you out specifically because of your character and because you are the leader of the VRM. I, and three of my friends, Ed, Thomas, and Ann are energynauts sent by ONE in answer to the prayers of your people. We have come to Kor on a space ship from our ancient home in Heaven.

"Our purpose is to get the VRM, ERM, SRM, and the Walean Army, speaking together and planning together for an offensive against Gog. We are not here to make the decisions or choices, only to guide you and support you."

"I don't know what to say," said Miriam. "I'm not quite sure of your meaning or purpose. Who did you say you are?"

"We, like you, are children of God (ONE), we live in Heaven after winning our last life games, and have been made energynauts sent out by God to help answer the prayers of his children."

"I'm overwhelmed by all you say," said Miriam. "I have never heard of such ideas. What else do you have to say?"

"My friends and I have lived hundreds of life games, but we only won our last game, which was on Earth. We now live in heaven eternally and do whatever tasks God has in mind for us. Today, God has sent us to Kor to help answer your people's prayers."

"What is that belt you have around your waist? Is that a gun?"

"This is my operational belt, and this is a ray gun. It works on nano batteries to create microwaves that cook an assailant from the inside out; a very nasty death."

"Would you use the ray gun against us?"

"Never. We hope to never have to touch them at all!"

A sweet but cool breeze came flowing around the hills and Miriam stood up. "Let's move on into Piers where it is warm and we are guarded better. I'd like to hear more about your ideas."

Tomorrow Glenna and Miriam tour Piers and continue their discussion.

THE RAPE & MUDER OF THE VOUN WOMEN

Today we tell the story of another tragedy in Voun as Bond's fiance, Edna, is kidnapped by Gog's soldiers.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of KOR...Chapter Seven

Bond Boyd's slender fingers molded the tiny golden tree. He dreamed of the day when he could find love again and make a tiny golden tree for his own beloved.

His thoughts immediately slipped to Edna; Edna with the flowers in her hair. His heart fell in sorrow as he remembered the night his friend, Fred, had come staggering to his front door and told him that Edna had been captured by the Selve soldiers.

Bond ran after Fred who led him to the place he had last seen Edna. No one was left there, but a clear trail showed where many feet had pounded the ground.

"Quick Fred, let's follow that trail!"

They ran down the trail until they heard a jumble of screams, orks, and other sounds. They stopped in their tracks and listened.

Screams of Voun women and their children and the orks and screes from the captured Voun men filled the air. The noise caused the Selves to go even crazier and they shot all the men and boys and little girls.

Bond and Fred heard what sounded like stakes being pounded into the ground. Quietly Bond and Fred fell to their stomachs and crawled as closely as they dared to the noise.

What they saw froze their hearts. Laid out around a circle were Voun women, including Edna, with their arms stretched out and staked to the ground, and their legs spread wide and staked in the same manner as their arms.

A line of Selve soldiers stretched out behind each woman, and one of the Selve soldiers stood between each woman's feet. Those soldiers opened the breech in their pants revealing their hard and distended penises.

Bond saw the position Edna was in and lunged forward from his hiding place to save her, but suddenly several strong hands picked him up bodily and stood him on his feet. Bond saw that the same thing had happened to Fred.

The Selve soldiers force-marched Bond and Fred into the center of the circle of women and bound their arms and legs, and put guns to their foreheads.

Edna stared straight into Bond's eyes and sent him a message that she loved him and was prepared to accept her torture if he would keep looking into her eyes. Her words were daggers in his heart but he determined that he would do as she asked.

The soldier that stood between Edna's legs turned around, faced Bond, gave a great guttural ork, all the while stroking his penis. Then, with a great scream of lust, he turned himself back towards Edna, thrust his sword into Edna's skirt and shredded it, then with a great roar of laughter he fell on Edna; stabbing her in her heart as he forced his penis between her struggling thighs. A last scream gurgled in Edna's throat.

Bond's heart and soul died within him. He struggled to breathe and then let out a great visceral scream followed by body-wracking sobs.

Suddenly a blast of trumpet-like sound filled the air and 30 members of the Voun Resistance Movement appeared from the trees surrounding the circle.

The element of surprise caused the Selve soldiers to panic and they ran off in all directions; cowards to the core.

Two of the Voun soldiers stayed behind to check on any survivors, while the rest of the men pursued the Selve soldiers until all but one of them were killed, and left for the lizards and vultures to clean up. The one Selve who managed to get away fled back to Selve. There he told everyone that the Vouns had a military force that had defeated a part of the Selvean Army. He was ridiculed for admitting that the trumpet-like sounds had startled them.

When the Voun soldiers returned to the circle of death, they buried all of the Vouns who had been killed and salved Bond's and Fred's wounds.

Bond and Fred were very impressed by the Voun Resistance Movement and took their pledges to join the Movement that very day. The Movement taught them and drilled them, and in the end it was Bond's salvation, for it kept his mind off of the horror film that played in his head and his incessant thoughts and dreams of Edna.

Bond polished the finished golden oak tree with shaking hands, and it slipped to the floor. Carefully picking it up, he placed it in a velvet-lined box and closed the lid.

"I am not ready for another love in my life right now. This is a time to engage in a war to free all of Kor. My personal feelings take second place to that goal; but one day things could become different,"  thought Bond.

Bond slipped the box with the golden oak tree into the safe, shut off the lights, and locked the doors to the shop; then he went to his drill and meeting at Miriam Loft's mansion.

Tomorrow Glenna tells of her adventures in Voun, and her meeting with Miriam Lofts.

CHILD

"The mind is a place in itself, and inside it one
Can turn Heaven into Hell or Hell into Heaven."

John Milton, Paradise Lost

                      CHILD

"Child" is almost a derogatory term these days.

Take away innocence,
Suck away respect
Leaves a child lying face down
On the ground.

Child:
      Pure soul,
      Pure mind.

We fast brick up walls in their minds -
      Words said fast
            In anger,
            In fear.
      In fear for love,
      In-love and fearing,
We must have our walls reflect in them.

God's greatest gift-Freedom of choice-
      We cannot allow;
            Out of fear;
            In fear for love,
            In-love and fearing.

Child knows all,
      Sees all,
      Understands without understanding.

Listen to the children,
Look in the eyes of a tiny child,
Listen with respect,
      Look into the future.

They were born with wisdom
      More than I at sixty-eight.

"Child" is to be honored
"Child" is not a derogatory term.

Fear no more for love,
Be no more in-love and fearing.

Love and fear are opposites,
More so than love and hate.

Love the child with respect,
Love the child in Freedom.

RYE WHISKEY & THE OPERATIONAL BELT

Today Ed is at the Wale armory getting to know and understand General Adam Coleman. A little Rye Whiskey oils the wheels of progress.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Six

"Suppose I believe what you say, how do you propose to bring all of us together?" asked General Coleman.

"I have three friends; Glenna, Ann, and Thomas. We came to Kor on a spaceship. My friends are meeting with Lucy Prism, from the ERM, Miriam Lofts from the VRM, and Wills Haddon of the SRM. We are proposing a meeting of all four of you, on our space ship, in two days."

"All right, Ed, start from the beginning. Just who are you and what is your stake in such a meeting; in the uniting of representatives from all four countries?"

"I won my last life game and have experienced the three tiers of Heaven. Now I, with my friends, are energynauts who work for ONE and do his bidding.

"ONE saw the pain in the hearts of your people and sent us to investigate and listen to the prayers of all Korians. We are to help you win your war by supporting you and getting all four armies together in one band. The rest is up to you, whatever way you choose, we'll give you all the help we can and all the support."

Adam opened the bottom drawer of his desk and pulled out a bottle of rye whiskey. Turning around in his chair, he grabbed a pair of glasses from a shelf behind his desk and filled them to the brim with the rye.

"Here," he said, "this will warm you up!" He took a sip and then said, "We have lost over 500,000 people to Gog's men. Some were shot where they stood; some were carted off to Selve where I hear there are concentration camps and I've heard from my spies that there are huge crematoriums there also. My people are being exterminated.

"We have soldiers spread across the country, but we only have 5000 in total, so they cannot cover us as well as we need to be covered and we only have enough weapons for our soldiers; but most farmers have at least a shotgun, so that is in our favor.

"We Wales harvest our crops in large groups with the army guarding them," said Adam. "We have always had trouble with the Selves abducting our citizens to work in their gold and silver mines, so we have had trouble even before Gog came into power. Now we are overwhelmed.

"If you could help us by organizing our four resistance armies into one army, we would be very grateful.

"I have moved my family into Ento where I can keep a close eye on them, but everyone can't move into Ento.

"So, what is that weapon on your belt, and how does your belt work for you?"

"This is my operational belt. There are several buttons on it and, of course, my ray gun."

"What is a ray gun?"

"It shoots microwave rays which instantly cook an opponent from the inside out. It is a deadly weapon that I hope never to have to use. The buttons on my belt are to make me invisible or to summon help from my friends. There is also a button that is anti-gravitational and allows me to float and a button that propels me forward, backward, or up and down. Let me demonstrate my invisibility button." Whereupon, I pushed the invisibility button and promptly vanished from sight.

"Whoa their partner!" exclaimed Adam, "That's terrific! How useful that could be!"

"Would you like to join my army?"

"Yes, I would, that would be an honor."

Adam and I stood up, he saluted me and led me in a short pledge of allegiance to Wale. I saluted Adam back and repeated the pledge. We both saluted each other, and Adam told me that I was now a Lieutenant General in the Walean Army.

"Ed, can you tell me a little about your ship? What does it look like?"

"She is a crystal oblong, silver colored, and powered by the meeting of matter and anti-matter. We plan to have you meet us there in two days, and I will take you on a tour of the ship. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised when you see her. Right now she is invisible because our invisibility shield is up, so we don't worry about the wrong eyes seeing her."

"Well, I can hardly wait to see the ship. I cannot even imagine what she must be like. How fast does she go?"

"We travel at almost the speed of light."

"Fast!"

"Yes, she is."

"Are you staying here now, or what?"

"No, I'll be back tomorrow morning with an update and more information, but for now, I will return to the ship. Do you have any further questions for me before I go?"

"I have to admit that I don't have any more questions at this time, but tomorrow I may have a million. When do you think you'll be here?"

"I should be here by 7:00 a.m., is that a good time for you?"

"Yes, perfect. I'll show you the base when you return, and we'll have a Walean lunch for you so you can meet all of the officers stationed here."

Adam got up and walked around his desk and grabbed me up in a great bear hug.

"Thank you for coming to see me," said Adam. "I really appreciate your effort and your support. Please give your friends my regards, and please keep us in your prayers."

"My pleasure; I will see you tomorrow morning. Hold tight, we're going to work on a plan that will free you from the Selve oppression. It is all in ONE's hands now."

We shook hands a final time and then I pushed my invisibility button and thought my way back to the ship. I felt my mission had gone well and it was good to be home.

Tomorrow is once again poetry day, but on Monday we hear the story of a tragedy in Voun and meet Bond Boyd.

ED'S ADVENTURE AT THE WALE' ARMORY

Today we travel with Ed to the country of Wale and meet the great General Adam Coleman.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Six

We sat around the table and watched Tom's face as he finished his story about Wills and the concentration camps. We all felt his deep pain and we all asked ONE to guide us to find an answer to Gog's "final solution."

It was Ed who spoke next. His eyes filled with tears, and his voice had a slight tremor, as he began his story.

ED:

As soon as I came around the mountains, I saw a beautiful panorama of rolling fields and valleys, covered with a wide assortment of crops. Three rivers boxed in this fertile prairie and I turned to the right, or the South, to travel to the Walean Capital of Ento. It was the only large city in Wale. In the countryside there were many villages but they were relatively small; maybe 1000 to 5000 people in each village. Then there were the thousands of Wale families who lived on their farms all over Wale.

I knew that Adam would be found at army headquarters on the outskirts of Ento. I sat down on a rock by the Specto River, which was one of the borders of Ento, and ate a lovely lunch of figs and pumpernickle bread, and washed it down with apple cider. It was so idyllically beautiful that it was hard to realize the tragedy that was also occurring all around me.

I asked ONE to lead me to Adam and give me words to say to help him. I then thought myself into Ento and turned off my invisibility. The city buzzed with activity and on every corner there were Walean soldiers armed with revolvers, shotguns, and rifles. There were very few cars, but a lot of tractors, and still many lizard-drawn carts.

As I walked down the street, I was suddenly accosted by an Ento policeman who demanded to know where I had come from and my purpose in town. I smiled at him and told him that I had come from a small village near Lake Como and that I had come to town to enlist in the Walean army. The officer changed tones very quickly, smiled broadly, and shook my hand.

"Sorry, young man. We're just so cautious right now, if we don't recognize someone, I'm afraid we're kind of hard on them at first!"

"I understand totally. We're losing people all over the land. I want to do my part to stop Gog."

"Well, that is admirable. Would you like a ride to the armory?"

"Sure, that would be great!"

The policeman drove a jeep-like vehicle and took me straight to the armory. There, he took me inside and nodded to a Sergeant who was sitting at a desk by the door.

"Is General Coleman in, son?"

"Yes sir! I'll tell him you're here."

A few moments later the Sergeant came back and motioned for them to follow him. They walked down the short hallway and the Sergeant knocked on a door, opened it, and announced that the policeman and I were here. He then motioned us into a large office and there, behind his desk, sat Adam; a huge man, with serious eyes and a broad smile.

"Come in, come in," said Adam. "Welcome to the Wale Army Headquarters. How may I help you?"

"This young man appeared in Ento and we accosted him, as he is unfamiliar to us, but he was simply here to join your Army. So I brought him around so he wouldn't get lost," said the policeman.

"Well, thank you for bringing him out here. I can take it from here," said Adam.

The policeman left and Adam came around his desk to shake my hand. He had a strong handshake and eyes that bored right into you.

"Well, son, you look a little old to be signing up for the military. Is there something you'd like to tell me? My name is General Adam Coleman and I head the Walean Army."

"Sir, my name is Ed Nelson. I am an energynaut sent by God in answer to your prayers. I know you believe in one God, so do I. That one God has sent me from our ancient home in heaven, with three of my friends, to come to Kor and help you with your war with the Selves."

"Excuse me, how can you possibly help me? Do you have extra weapons or an army of men for me?"

"I have only one gun, my ray gun here, and God sent only the four of us, but I can tell you that God has sent us to help join all three countries-Wale, Emon, and Voun-and the Selve Resistance Movement (SRM), together, so you can face Gog from a stronger, better-united front."

Tomorrow Ed and Adam talk business and come to an understanding between them.

THE RAPE OF A WALEAN VILLAGE

Today's story is about Yelon, a Wale man who tries to rescue his village from Gog's soldiers.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Six

The stars twinkled in the cold night sky, but Yelon was walking cautiously and paid them no attention. As a Walean man he knew he shouldn't be on the road at night with all the terror going on. In the last year he had lost 164 friends to the soldiers of Gog, either by outright murder or transportation to the camps in Selve.

It was no secret that Gog was running a death camp to exterminate all Waleans. It was so hard to comprehend Gog's purpose. If he succeeded, and killed all of the Wales, who would farm the crops, husband the opalescent fish, or raise the sugar beets properly? The Selves were extremely lazy when it came to hard labor.

Yelon heard loud stomping coming from behind him, and darted off the road and hid in a corn field. Soon he saw a group of about 25 Selvean soldiers, all heavily armed. They were joking about the fun they were about to have, and betting who could use the most women in one hour.

Yelon let the men pass on quite a way before he walked out on the road again. He was shaken and wondered what the soldiers had been planning.

The soldiers were walking in the direction of Yelon's own home town. He shuddered to think what their purpose might be. He felt so frustrated that he had to pace himself carefully so as not to run up on the heels of the soldiers, but he wanted to get past them somehow and warn the villagers.

Suddenly, Yelon found himself only 20 feet behind the soldiers. They had stopped to swill whiskey to stave off the chill night air. Yelon jumped into an adjacent corn field. This was his opportunity to get around the soldiers if only the soldiers didn't hear him rustling in the corn. He got down on his hands and knees and gently moved through the stalks. When he figured he had passed the soldiers, he cautiously peeked out, saw that the coast was clear, and began to run down the road to his village.

The only place open in the little village was Dunt's Tavern. Yelon burst through the doors and sounded the alarm that the soldiers were just down the road. No one challenged him, they just got up and ran out the door to their respective homes. Yelon ran after them, yelling that the Selves were coming, until he came to his own home. he threw open his front door and yelled for his wife and children. Quickly, he bundled everybody up, took their hands, and ran for the corn fields. Once there, he cleared a spot on the ground and they all laid down and hid.

Women's screaming split the air, men's voices orked in warning, and little children were crying. Shots rang out. People were running every which way as the Wales sought out escape routes. But there were none. Before people could reach the corn fields, they were shot in the back. Bodies littered the ground; the shooting continued. The rancid smell of smoke began to fill the air. Yelon peeked and saw that most of the homes and buildings in the village were on fire.

Yelon heard a rustling and roaring sound and realized that the soldiers had set the corn on fire.

Holding the children's hands, Yelon and his wife crouched down and ran, as fast as they could, through the corn towards the river. There were caves in the foothills across the river, if they could just elude the soldiers, they could hide out there. They came to the edge of the corn field and everything looked clear.

Yelon, carrying his two sons, and his wife carrying their little girl, darted out of the corn and ran pell-mell towards the river. They reached the shore and plunged into the ice cold water.

More shots rang out. Five innocent bodies caught in the river's current and floated downstream.

Tomorrow we go on an adventure with Ed to see and meet with General Adam Coleman of the Walean Army.

ONE IS THAT GREAT FORCE CALLED LOVE

Today Tom & Wills have a heart to heart discussion regarding the space ship and Tom's purpose in coming to Kor.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Five

When I leave for my ship I will be invisible to anyone else so I can travel safely between my ship and your compound. One day soon, I will take you to our ship. That is where the four of you Korians, and the four of us energynauts, shall have our first meeting together, probably in two days time."

"Well, at last, I can now sense that there is going to be a united plan and we can actually make changes happen," remarked Wills.

"Now, who are you really? And what is your real mission?"

"My name is Tom. I come from Heaven; you come from Heaven. We all start out in Heaven, where we all determine the challenges and goals for each new life game we play. I went to Earth and you came to Kor.

"I won my life game in 1942 and was in Heaven permanently..."

"You mean there is a God? What does he look like?"

"He is pure energy; he is pure love; and he is very real. He created the entire Cosmos including each of us. ONE did not want his children to be sycophants. He loves us, his children, and wants us to love him, or come to him, in our own choice of time and place. He loves us so much that he takes the risk of losing his children to negativity, and then suffering pain at their separation from him. ONE wants us to come to him and be his friend and discuss the wonders of his creation.

"ONE is that great force that creates and directs the Cosmos. That force is called love. Love is not a weak ephemeral feeling, but the great Force, the great energy, that runs the Cosmos; that is the Cosmos; that is ONE.

"ONE loves you and all Korians, and he does not like genocide in any form. He has sent us to counsel you, and to help your situation."

"Well, I thank this Force, this ONE, for caring about us, and sending you and your friends to help us.

"Time has passed quickly while we have been talking. I'm sure that it must be time for you to leave soon. Will you be back tomorrow?

"Yes. I will return early in the morning and I should have some ideas for you when I come back, after I have talked with my friends."

Wills gave me a hug and a pat on the back and then I turned on my invisibility and began my trip back to the ship.

As I neared that concentration camps I could hear moans of pain and despair that ripped my soul apart. I made a promise in my heart, to all the prisoners, that I would be back and find a way to free them; then I thought my way back to the ship.

Tomorrow we meet Yelon, a Wale man, who meets up with Gog's soldiers and tries to run ahead and save his village from destruction.

TOM OBSERVES WILLS' HEADQUARTERS & SOLDIERS

Today Tom runs to Wills' headquarters in the Vorask Forest and observes the tiny cabin where they have their secret meetings.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Five

And with that said, we all began to run swiftly and quietly into the deepest part of the forest. I really had to push myself to keep up with them. We shortly arrived at a small clearing with a cabin in the midst of it.

"Do you have a weapon on you?" asked Wills when we came to a stop.

"Yes, I have a ray gun that uses microwaves to cook the aggressor from the inside out. It is not a pleasant death, but it is speedy."

"How do you intend to use that gun; will you use it against us?"

"No.No. We pray never to have to use the guns at all, but as long as we are in mortal bodies, we must be able to fend off an irate animal or attacker. I can't let you use the weapon because you would not understand its technology yet, or how to use it safely, and I wouldn't want one of your men to be cooked."

"O.K., This is our base. We have about a thousand part-time soldiers who come to us when their regular jobs are over, and then there are the ten of us who live here permanently and make forays into the mountains to ambush Gog's soldiers and kill them.

"Come into the cabin and we'll fix up some food. Are you hungry?"

"I am now, and I am hoping that we can sit down at some point and discuss our mission together."

"O.K., Let me rustle up some grub for the boys and us, and then we'll sit down and enjoy business."

As Wills cooked, I looked around the cabin and noted that it was neat, clean, and well-organized. I could see ammunition loading equipment and gun cleaning tables. An entire wall held automotive and generator parts. There was an acetylene torch, acetylene and oxygen tanks, and boxes of rod of all sizes and types. There were two huge cupboards filled with mechanic's tools, and a workbench with every kind of tool to work with wood, or plumbing, or electricity. I was very impressed with their setup.

Lunch consisted of fried fish, fried potatoes, mixed vegetables, a dark, crusty bread, and rye whiskey with branch water. It was delicious.

When lunch was over the young soldiers washed up and Wills and I went into his little office so we could talk.

Wills began, "I am the leader of the Selve Resistance Movement (SRM) and as such I am determined to rid my country of its dictator, Gog. I believe he is greedy and mentally ill, and that he is fueling a total genocide of good people. I abhor all of this and cannot sit aside and do nothing, so this is the beginning of what I hope will become a meeting of Emons, Wales, and Vouns-and those of us Selves who want a change-to discuss what to do, and then get busy making changes."

"My purpose," said Tom, "is to listen to you and what you want to do, and then take this information back to my ship where Ed, Glenna, and Ann are waiting with their stories. Then the second step is to return to you and we will set up a meeting between the leaders of all four of Kor's Resistance Movements. You will be one of the four leaders. Next there is Lucy Prism of the ERM; Miriam Lofts of the VRM; and Adam Coleman of the Army of Wale. Working together, we hope, will make you stronger. It is always, however, your choice as to how to move forward. My friends and I are merely counselors to help you see the various pathways and their outcomes. We are here for support and ideas.

"When do you need to return to your ship? What is a ship? You might be caught by Gog's soldiers; how will you get back to your ship? When will you return to us?"

"I will depart in about two hours to return to my ship. I will return back here as quickly as you want me to, probably early tomorrow morning."

Tomorrow Tom explains the energynauts' real purposes in coming to help out Kor.

TOM SEES THE DEATH CAMPS & MEETS WILLS HADDON

Today we follow Tom on his first adventure as he sees the actual death camps which bring back such terrible memories for him and makes him physically ill.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Five
TOM:

"I thought that I was back in 1940s Germany," said Tom.

When I first left the ship I was involved in studying my surroundings, but when I came around the mountains, I saw a concentration camp that was filled with Wales that were carrying heavy rocks, or in the process of splitting rocks. They were dressed in striped clothes with a yellow hexagram on their collars, and they were being guarded by Selve soldiers who trained guns on them. I heard soul wrenching screams and cries coming from inside of the barracks; there were rows of roughly-made buildings stretching out for a quarter of a mile. When I came to the end of the camp, I saw it.

Two great grey crematoriums with smokestacks billowing blackish-brown smoke. There was no attempt to disguise their function. I could see carts filled with corpses-men, women, and children-rolling towards the entrance doors.

Shaken and heartsick, I continued walking and came across other camps less formidable and holding a mixture of Emons and Vouns. They were dressed in green uniforms and were working using a pick in the mountain tunnels, or sorting the gold ore to go to the huge millhouses that were nestled close to the mountains.

I increased my speed and soon reached the Glandis River. Here, I sat on a rock for a moment, but could not find the appetite for the lunch I had brought. Horrible memories came crashing down on me; it was the Holocaust all over again and I mourned for the family and friends I had lost; an entire people wiped out because of the mental illness and delusions of one mad man. Hitler and Gog; they were two brothers in mind and spirit.

I prayed that I would be led to Wills as quickly as possible and I felt compelled to walk north. The land was beautiful with tall pines and streams filled with trout. I had no heart to really appreciate the beauty around me, but one thing was good, and that was that I could feel I was getting closer to Wills.

I turned my invisibility off and looked like a Selve. Suddenly a man in camouflage was standing in front of me with a rifle pointed at my heart.

"Where do you come from stranger?" asked the man in camouflage.

"What are you doing here? What is your business?

"My name is Tom, and I am searching for a man named Wills."

Suddenly, I realized that I was surrounded by Selves in camouflage, all holding automatic weapons. I immediately pushed the "invisible" button with the back of my arm, and thought myself into a tree above them. The men were scrambling all over themselves trying to find me, so I said to them, "Hello, do not be afraid, my name is Tom and I come in search of a young man named Wills."

"Where are you?" yelled a man who seemed to be the leader.

"Up above you, but don't try to capture me, I will just disappear again."

"Well, you've found me; I'm Wills, but where are you from, and what do you want with me?"

"I have come from a galaxy far away from Kor and have been sent by ONE, to help you in your goal of defeating Gog and returning your land to a democracy."

With this said, I thought myself to stand in front of Wills and hit my invisibility button again to make myself visible to him. We stood eye to eye and sized each other up. Wills was also tall and slender, but he was more muscular than I. His eyes smiled and he stuck out his hand to shake mine in greeting.

"Wow! Isn't this something," said Wills, "I had a dream the other night that a stranger would come to offer our group a helping hand. Maybe you are that person?"

"Yes, I am that person. I have come to Kor with three friends; Ed, Glenna, and Ann and we are each assigned to a leader of the resistance movements in all four of Kor's countries. We are to listen to you, your people, and your prayers, and then decide how best to help you win your war against Gog, and we must let you make all the choices. We also need to enlist your aid to free the Wales, Emons, and Vouns from their concentration camps, that seems to me to be a number one priority."

"Are you against Gog's methods?"

"Yes, he cannot keep hurting people."

"Well, Tom, if you are who you say you are, then I will soon know it. I trust my instincts, and run with what I feel. But right now we need to get out of here and get back to camp. You are coming with us!"

Tomorrow Tom gets a look at Wills camp and they discuss why the energynauts have come to Kor.

THE GHETTO WITHIN

I know because I've been there,
     The ghetto of my soul.
The guns outside exploding,
     The world ends every year.

The sun it does not shine here,
The wind it does not blow,
But out there babies cry
And Mrs. Wilson hits the floor.

Mama hides her bottle
In the back of her own loo,
And daddy takes to running
     When the creditors are due.

I don't know where I'm going
     'cause I don't know where I am,
And the battle has been brewing
For a long time in my mind.

The walls are up around me
And the walls are pretty tall,
And they glisten and they glitter
Like a snail has painted all.

This ghetto has no guns;
     They're not necessary here,
The fireworks exploding
Cause my soul to cringe in fear.

And fear it is a trigger
     That makes my bladder run,
And my bowels they turn to water
When I hear my mother come.

Charley's been locked out again
     he's only nine or ten,
And the gruel that he's allowed to have
     Is grey and pretty thin.

The schools don't seem to notice,
     The family friends shut up,
The pastor turns his face away
As he passes the Sacrament cup.

My folks they have some money,
     They're professionals that heal,
So nothing really happens here
In this family group from hell.

Ghettos can be in cities
     Or in your children's souls;
The crack of guns outside
Or the shot within their hearts.

My brother has passed on now,
And may he rest in peace.
my soul can rest now also
As I write this little piece.

Davalene Hirsch

Tomorrow we follow Tom as he sees the death camps for the first time and remembers the Nazi Holocaust that took away his life and the lives of all his family members.

GOG SNATCHES CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS

Today Ann finishes her visit with Lucy and returns to the ship where her colleagues have also arrived from their adventures. Tom is stricken and we start the tale of his meeting with Wills Haddon.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Four

When we had finished eating, we relaxed and Lucy told me the story of her family. Both of her parents were professors at the University of Kor; her father a professor of physics, and her mother a professor of Korian literature.

Lucy was an only child and had had a very comfortable life as a child. She was a driven student and majored in Biology and Medicine, becoming a medical doctor by the time she was 24 years old. She is single and lives alone with a fat lazy cat named Whiskers. Her apartment is three blocks away from her business office.

Suddenly our dinner was interrupted with a loud noise at the maitre d's' table. We turned around and saw a runner frantically asking for Lucy. The maitre d' brought him over to our table and words came rushing from his mind. "Madam Lucy, the most horrible thing has happened! Thirty students have been captured by Gog's soldiers as they were running cross country."

All of the people in the restaurant got up and came rushing to our table, and everyone at once started talking and asking questions of the runner, but the runner had no more information and did not know the names of the victim's.

"Well, Ann, I have to get back to the office to address this situation. Can you come early in the morning to my office? I'll be there by 7:00 a.m."

Kor ran on a 20 hour day; sixty minutes to the hour. There were 10 months to one year and there were four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.

"Yes, Lucy, I will be there at seven sharp and we can begin to make plans. I should know a lot more when I have talked with my companions and see how they fared."

We hugged each other goodbye, and Lucy was off to her office and I started back to the ship. I was sorry that our meeting had been cut short, but I could see now that the Selves were terrorizing the Emons as well as the Wales.

I walked out of town toward the Lantel River and then I thought of the ship and I was quickly brought there. I was the first one back and I began to prepare a meal for all of us.

Soon Tom straggled in and sat heavily on a chair. His face looked ravished.

"Tom, are you all right? You look haggard."

"Oh, Ann, I have seen so much pain today. I'll wait until we're all together to explain, but I never thought that I'd see such things again!"

Glenna then stepped into the ship and she had a smile and encouragement for Tom. I left them alone and they went to their room to rest.

Then, as I finished making dinner, Ed arrived. His face was drawn and white and I rushed to take him in my arms.

"Oh, Ann, the sites I've seen! I'll wait for details until we all get together, but the poor Wales, they are such good people and I am heartsick at their problems.

An hour later, we sat down around the dining nook and had a meal of macaroni and cheese and a big salad, washed down with ice cold lemonade. As energy forms, we do not need to eat, but enjoy eating and drinking so much that we indulge. Food and liquid is vaporized as soon as we ingest it, and we have no need to use restrooms as we have nothing to eliminate. The food and drink become extra energy for us.

Tom began to tell us of his adventures. His face had deep lines etched into it, and we gave him our total attention.

Tomorrow we set aside time for some poetry and on Monday we return to Tom and his adventures.

MOLLY STANDS UP AGAINST GOG'S POLICIES

Today Gog's Rally continues and Molly takes a stand against Gog's outlandish remarks. Later, we rejoin Ann and Lucy as they strengthen their new friendship.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Four

Gog was expounding, "The Wales are dying, but not quickly enough. That has meant that we still have very little food. The Wales are purposely starving us. We must strike them down so that we can gain control of the food supplies. To meet this end I am, even today, sending three more legions to kill Wales, and building a third crematorium in our mountains to handle their bodies as soon as they are dead.

"Whale the Wales!" And the crowd yelled back, "Gog! Gog! Gog!"

Gog spoke and ranted for two hours and his talk was punctuated by "Whale the Wales!" and "Gog! Gog! Gog!" by the audience.

When Rave and his family returned to their home, the parents put the children to bed, and then lay in their own bed talking together.

Molly said, "I don't know Rave, I'm not sure I trust Gog. I can't believe what he's saying about the Wales. I met a Walean woman when I went to the University of Kor. She was a lovely, gracious woman who looked at the world with love. She excelled in class-even in science and math. Her husband was a judge and I met him at a dance; he was a very loving husband.

"No, Rave, I don't believe what Gog says about the Wales. We are killing people who are very special and very religious. We'd better do something to stop this; what can we do Rave?"

"Well, first, you can shut your mouth Molly! Don't you understand that you can be killed for saying such things?"

"Rave, if we don't speak out, who will?"

"Well not us Molly. We shut up here, now and forever. Do you understand Molly? Or do I have to lock you up?"

"Oh, Rave, I won't speak out, but I want you to know that I am angry about this and obey you only because I love you."

In her heart, Molly made a promise to herself that she would find a way to make a difference; no matter the cost.

"Well, that's better woman. But remember this: you speak out and you are no longer my wife. The children will never see you again."

Molly didn't sleep that night.

ANN:

I took ten minutes to refresh myself and wondered what Emons eat. I knew that there were few species of mammals on Kor, and Korians did not eat those mammals. I knew that they subsisted largely on seafood, kelp, vegetables, and grains. Their favorite drinks were fruit juices and a strong Rye whiskey. I think I can handle all of that. I might not be as quick to try sugar beets because they acted as a strong narcotic on the Korians and I'll withhold judgement on that experience until I observe the effects it has on the Korian character.

"Are you ready, Ann?"

"Yes, Lucy; actually I'm really excited to see more of your city and try some of your cuisine."

"Well, I'm taking you to my favorite restaurant, Le Span. I want you to taste our opalescent fish on a bed of kelp. On the other side, I love a mixture of fruits, vegetables, and breads, and we'll wash it down with blackberry juice. Does this sound good to you?"

"My mouth is watering and my stomach is growling, so I guess my whole being is rejoicing in the thought of your meal."

"We love to eat here, it's our favorite pass time, to meet and converse. To talk of ideas over food really helps to clarify everything. Do you find this to be true?"

"Oh yes. Why my Ed and I spend hours just exchanging ideas; we love to eat and talk. I love to eat!"

"I like to see people's faces light up; it gives me joy. The restaurants are where we go to be happy, and I get to watch so many people there.

"Here we are at Le Span."

Lucy held the door open for me. Laughter and music greeted us, and rich aromas filled the air; all of the customers seemed to be having a great time.

We were immediately seated by the maitre d' who greeted Lucy like a long-lost relative. People called out to Lucy as we walked to our table and were seated.

"Why, everyone knows you Lucy; what a wonderful feeling it must be to be so loved."

"It is a very gratifying feeling Ann, and I love them all back. Now, not all Emons love me. We, tragically, have some Emons who are Gog sympathizers; who hate me because they suspect that I lead the Emon Resistance Movement (ERM). Well, I do, but I don't hate them; but, I must speak out about their negative ideals and plans. So we are at odds. Usually they frequent their own restaurants though, so my visits here are almost universally pleasant."

"Lucy, before we get started, I must leave here after two hours in order to get back to my friends again on schedule."

"When will we meet again, Ann?"

"Tomorrow, or whenever you can accept my coming back. It is your call. When would you like me back?"

"I'd like you to come back tomorrow, early if possible. I'd like to spend the day with you and talk more about getting this planet back into sanity and happiness again,"

Then Lucy and I shared spiritual ideas and came to the conclusion that ONE and her Heavenly Father are one and the same God. The meal was great. We had the wonderful opalescent fish, which would melt in your  mouth with its buttery flavor. There was a bed of kelp that the fish nestled in and it was mild and sweet. Then there was a selection of fruits and vegetables, and a basket of bread, and we washed it all down with blackberry juice. For dessert there was a bread pudding with raisins.

Tomorrow, Ann goes back to the ship and welcomes home her friends from their adventures.

A RALLY FOR GOG

Today we take a look inside Selve and observe one Selve family who support the dictator, Gog. There is also an insight into a Gog political rally.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Three

Rave Gilbert knew about the concentration camps and was glad of them. He looked around his dinner table, at his family: his son, Trev; his daughter, Julie; and his wife, Molly.

They were slowly starving as the price of food had risen markedly in the last months. It was all the Wale's fault, they were angry at their losses and wouldn't sell food to a Selve, so the Selves had to buy supplies from Voun and Emon, and their prices were also very high because of the huge demand.

This evening they had two small fish to feed the four of them, and that didn't go very far with two hungry children who did not understand the situation they were in.

If you had told Rave, two years ago, that there would be widespread food shortages in Selve, Rave would never have believed it. Why, he was a mining engineer in the gold and silver mines of Selve. He had a lot of gold and silver himself, and was in the upper middle class, but sometimes gold and silver will not buy food. Not with everyone in Selve striving for the little food there was.

"The stupid Wales! Who do they think they are?" demanded Rave as he smashed his fist on to the tabletop. His children and wife jumped and the little girl started crying. They all missed their favorite foods and now daddy was acting strangely.

"I hate the Wales, and all of this war business! I think they sometimes send us poisons on the fruits and vegetables. I'll be so glad when there are no more Wales and we have control of all the food. Then we'll raise the prices of food for all the Vouns and Emons, and we'll see how they like it!"

"Please honey, don't get so upset in front of the children. They can't understand all of this. I can't say that I do," said Molly.

"I'm sorry honey, I'll settle down, but there's another rally tonight. Listen to Gog and you'll understand more. He has great ideas and we will all profit when all of the Wale's are eliminated."

"I don't get what the Wales have done to deserve elimination. They are different from us, but not too different."

"Really honey, don't you listen to Gog at all? The Wales are ugly, rough-looking, and they are very backward. They believe in this one God, and they run their country without a King, or ruler. Why I've heard that some Wales are so tied to their one God that they sacrifice their children to him."

"Oh Rave, are you sure? That doesn't even sound realistic."

They all finished eating the fish and then put on their coats and hats, and left for the rally in downtown Mano.

Rave and his family found seats in the stands of the Fuseball Stadium and watched the pageantry of Gog's Army guards in maneuvers. The Gog flag-capital G, small sun, and capital G again-waved from every place you looked: GoG!

There was a loud roar of applause, and a limousine pulled up in the wide field before the Selve people. Gog stepped out of the limousine and climbed a short set of stairs to a rugged podium. He raised his arms and saluted all of the Selves.

Rave thought that Gog was a handsome man, despite his weight, at 6'2" tall with black hair and blue eyes- which was very rare for a Selve-but it was his voice that Rave was really drawn to. Deep and husky, Gog was able to modulate his voice with deep emotions.

"The Wales are warlocks and witches!" screamed Gog. "They poison the crops they sell to us! They have degraded the quality of sugar beets! The opalescent fish have toxins in their fat!

"Wale the Wales!" yelled Gog, and the people of Selve screamed back, "Gog! Gog! Gog!"

Tomorrow is the conclusion of the rally and a look at Gog's home life.

LUCY PRISM IS SHOCKED BY WHAT ANN SUGGESTS

Today Ann meets her soon-to-be friend, Dr. Lucy Prism the President of the University of Kor, and the leader of the Emon Resistance Movement.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Three

Ten minutes passed as I sat and breathed slowly and left my mind blank. Then the door to an inner office opened and I saw Lucy for the first time. She smiled and walked toward me with an outstretched hand and asked, "Mrs. Nelson?"

"Yes," I said and arose from my chair and shook her hand.

"Come into my office Mrs. Nelson.

"Alice, hold my calls for an hour and cancel the 1:10 appointment for now."

"Mrs. Nelson, my name is Lucy Prism, Dr. Lucy Prism. Welcome to my office. How can I be of service to you?"

"My friends call me Ann, and may I call you Lucy?"

"Certainly. Do we know each other from before? You look so familiar."

"Lucy, we have known each other in previous life games and we were dear friends. I have been sent by ONE to answer the prayers of your people and to discover exactly what is going on with Gog and the Selves, and their stated genocide against the Wales.

"Am I frightening you, Lucy? Do you need me to slow down?"

"No, I am all right. I think that I understand what you are saying to me. I mean, I don't understand, but something inside me is saying that you speak the truth. Who are you?"

"I am an energynaut. Lucy, I have played my last life game and have come to live forever in the dimension of Heaven. Now I do ONE's will, which right now is to come from him to speak to you. Please tell me your problems and concerns."

"Who is ONE?"

"ONE is the one and only and all, God. We call him ONE because everything and everyone is contained in him. He is ALL, he is ONE. You and I, and all of our brothers and sisters across the Cosmos are really one. Each of us is unique as to frequency and personality, but we were a spark from ONE's energy that was given a form that changes shape and size by our own choice of physical bodies when we live a life game. In Heaven, our ancient home, the shape of our energy has a head, face, neck, torso, arms, legs, hands and feet.

"As you live this life on Kor, you are 'playing' a life game. Before you were born on Kor you lived in Heaven and you made the choices necessary to win this life game. You are a very special person Lucy, and the God you pray to..."

"We call him Heavenly Father."

"Heavenly Father wants you to know that you have a very important role to play in normalizing Kor once again. I understand that you are also the leader of an underground resistance movement here in Emon?"

"I am, but how did you know that?"

"ONE sent me to tell you that you will receive help from my companions and me: Thomas, Ed, and Glenna. They are now approaching: Wills Haddon, the Selve, who heads the Selve Resistance Movement (SRM) against Gog; Miriam Lofts, the Voun, who leads the Voun Resistance Movement (VRM); and Adam Coleman, the Wale, who is the leader of the Walean Army. Even as we talk, my friends are approaching your friends so that we can all get together and coordinate our efforts against Gog. That is, if you see a need to curtail Gog's plans of eradicating the Wales and seizing their land and houses."

"We all are against Gog. The only people filled with hate are some of the Selves; those who worship Gog as a dictator. They want to exterminate all of the Wales on the grounds that they are savages and have too much power; controlling the food supply for all of Kor. We think that the Selves are really motivated by greed and a lust for the Wale's property and crops. They want to become the most powerful country and enslave all that are not Selves. So first, the Wales will be gone, and then one by one the rest of us."

"That is a horrible thought Lucy, but we're not going to let that happen. We will have a meeting, as soon as possible, and see how you're going to get rid of Gog and his little empire, and return the Selves to a sane political system with a person at the head-limited to one four-year term in office-who has been placed there by the vote of all Selves, 14 years old and older."

"My mind is in shock, Ann. You have given me so much informaton in such a short time, that it has just frozen tight. Please forgive me, I know in my heart and mind and soul that what you speak is the truth, but how I know that, I do not know. Could we go for a walk and a light lunch? I don't want to lose contact with you until I can understand better what you are saying to me."

"That would be fine, Lucy. I agree that we should spend some time together."

"Then give me 10 minutes to organize my office, and we'll be away. There is a washroom around that little corner."

Tomorrow Ann and Lucy go out to a local restaurant to discuss plans and get to know each other better.

ANN EXPLORES THE LAND OF EMON & MENTAL TELEPATHY

Today Ann explores the land of Emon & meets their leader, Lucy Prism.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Three

ANN:

The land of Emon was largely composed of granite because Vulpan had been an active volcano a million years ago. There were huge boulders and mountains made entirely of gigantic boulders stacked one upon the other. I had to be careful of rockslides, and of course reptiles could be flourishing in the moist air. The ground under my feet was covered with tiny, loose rocks. I also had to be careful not to slip when I stepped. Clouds hid the top of the volcano and lay draped across the ring of mountains like a shawl.

Occasionally, a large, black bird soars past, catching the updrafts. Tiny purple and green flowers hide in the nooks and crannies of the rocks. I saw some three-toe tracks in the softer dirt at the edge of the road and wondered what tiny animals made those.

It was still, except for the rare scree of the black bird and the steady drip drip of condensation. I switched my belt on to "fly" and swiftly covered ground. Once I came out of the mountains I would think myself to the capital of Emon: Delta.

Past the mountain was desert land and I turned left and headed for the Lantel River, then I followed the Lantel south into Delta. As I traveled along the Lantel, going south I could see Wale to my left. I saw field after field of grains and vegetables stretching as far as the eye could see; a rich ocean of green spread over the South East.

Once I saw the buildings and universities rising from the plains, I stopped and ate a pomegranate and drank a small flask of water; I had brought all of this from the ship. I then sat on a rock and concentrated on Lucy and asked that I be led to her. Having touched base with ONE, I then began walking and observing all around me as I allowed myself to be led to Lucy. I saw lovely well-kept homes, in circles of ten, surrounding the outskirts of Delta, with two main access roads running the width and breadth of Delta.

There were trees everywhere and wild berries and grapes twisted through the branches.

It was time to change my appearance, so I pushed a button on my belt and became visible once again. I then walked down the east-west road into Delta itself. It was a fairly modern-what on Earth would be a 1930s-town with most buildings two stories high, and many five or six stories high. The vehicles on the road were heavy with molded metal and similar to 1930s to 1940s Ford motorcars.

The Emons I met had slender waists and large chests, with breasts on the females. Their faces were very pleasant and very individual; they had dark, medium sized eyes and shapely eyebrows. They had high cheek bones and thin lips that seemed to smile a lot.

Korian DNA had started with one-celled organisms and had progressed to amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, and one offshoot, the Korians, who were amphibian-mammals. They breathed oxygen and had lungs, but they also had gills, and webbing between their fingers and toes in  order to navigate the ocean surrounding Kor.

The Korians were the only large mammals on Kor. They gave live birth, breast-fed their babies, and had hair. They were omnivores, preferring fruits, vegetables, nuts, and grains, but also eating a lot of seafood and kelp. Their strongest drink was a grain whiskey made by the Wales. The Wales also grew the sugar beet that made them feel so good and was the strongest narcotic known on Kor.

As I came into Delta I felt led to a large shiny white building that seemed to be at the hub of Delta. It turned out to be the business offices of the University of Kor. The colleges were spread out across the outskirts of Delta. As I came abreast of the business office. I felt a strong pull and immediately knew that I had found Lucy.

Lucy, it turns out, was a medical doctor and the President and CEO of the University of Kor. She had a bright shiny face and a wonderful smile. People were drawn to Lucy because her face, her stature, and her very being spoke of the great love she harbored for all.

I asked at the front desk for President Prism and was sent up to the sixth floor where a young woman sat at a desk guarding the President. When I say that I asked I do not mean that I spoke out loud-using my vocal chords- but that I "thought asked" her. We use mental telepathy, which is not mind reading. I cannot hear your thoughts, only the radio-like transmissions that you send out; your words; the product of brain energy; brainpower. They're all holograms-the thoughts that fly between minds.

I handed the secretary my business card which was a gold eternity symbol on a sky-blue background, and in the left lower corner: Ann Nelson, Personal Specialist. I then sat down to wait. I felt that Lucy would pick up the frequencies on the card and its meaning would be clear to her, however I didn't know how she would react to it.

Tomorrow Ann explains to Lucy what their purpose in coming to Kor is, and they become fast friends.

GOG SPEWS HIS POISON

Today we visit Gog and see a day in his evil life.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Three

Gog  drifted idly on his rubber pool chair. He loved lying in the sun in his salt water pool, gently bouncing off the sides.

Lena; he had loved beautiful Lena so much, and she had been the perfect wife for him; so supportive and loving. His heart refreshed itself in rage as he remembered Lena's murder. Her murderer was a Wale. The Wales again; it was always the Wales, the scabby, ugly, orange Wales. How he hated them!

The Wale that killed Lena had been an outcast Wale because he tortured small animals and wouldn't work the fields. He had grabbed Lena when she was jogging near the Glandis River, cut her throat and raped her. Gog smote the water with both fists until his fury subsided. He could hardly wait until every Wale in the world had been killed. He could practically taste his rage.

Berna, his current wife, came out of the house and stood at the poolside nagging at him. "You have a rally in one hour, you sot! You need to get out of the pool right now!"

"I will in a minute, just leave me alone you old hag!" Gog paddled himself into the middle of the pool and directed a raspberry in Berna's direction. "Show her who's boss," he mumbled under his breath.

Another rally tonight, the third one in a week, but they were necessary to keep his subjects in line. He'd wait another ten minutes and then go in and take a shower and get dressed.

Gog was handsome, strong, and brilliant-although quite overweight-and he fed the Selves the picture that they would soon conquer all of Kor and every Selve would be rich, own slaves, and never have to work again. Every person in Selve would also receive a parcel of Wale land for their efforts.

Gog thought for a moment about his great-grandmother whom he had disowned. She had been a Wale who had married a Selve. Gog was so embarrassed by her backward ways and her reviled color that he never admitted to being her great-grandson. Thankfully, she had died when he was just a little boy, so he had never been seen with her. Hopefully no one would ever make a connection between them.

Gog got out of his pool and glanced around his mansion. His soldiers stood guard around the perimeter of his property, and they had guard lizards with them to warn them of approaching strangers. The guards were prepared to release them if the strangers came too close. Once released, the lizards were trained to rip a person's throat out and show no mercy. He felt proud about what he had created.

Once upstairs, he took a shower and then rubbed Herba Aloe into his skin to soften it. His bathtub and shower were his pride and joy. It had gold faucets and knobs, and he could use either salt water or fresh water for his bath. His bathtub had a bubbling massage machine in it. All of the creature comforts you could imagine could be found in this bathroom.

As Gog dressed in his uniform, he thought about tonight's speech and how important it was to reach the hearts and spirits of the Selves. They were making good progress in eliminating those bastard Wales. Maybe they should build a third crematorium so that they could process the bodies faster. Yeah, that's a great idea; he'd bring it up tonight.

There was a discreet knock on the bedroom door, and Gog yelled, "Come in!!"

Grant, the butler, came in and informed Gog that his limousine had arrived.

"Tell them I'll be right down," said Gog as he finished buttoning up his jacket. He pressed the creases in his trousers with his fingers, centered his hat on his head, and walked down the stairs behind Grant.

Tomorrow Ann travels to Emon and meets with Dr. Lucy Prism.

NO DICHOTOMY BETWEEN GOD & SCIENCE

NO DICHOTOMY

There is no dicotomy
      Between God and Science.
Scientific discovery
      Is the unfoldng knowledge
            Of God's mind.

(In counterbalance to the minister:)
"There can only be one truth!
             (There are a million.)
"God cannot, He will not allow!"
(God does everyday as He watches us fall.)
"No television! No comics! No dancing!" he says.
      "They are the devil's workshop...
"God will never allow man to go to the Moon!"

All these things the pastor said
(as I made my roof and steeple)
If God is love,
      What is he talking about?

Sunday morning sermons,
      Circa 1949,
Made me go straight out of my mind.
Whatever is he saying?
The man is a fool.

God speaks of loving one another
      As He has loved us;
Science writes the poetry of God's mind.

There is no dicotomy
      Between God and Science.
Scientific discovery
Unravels the mysteries of God's mind.

Scientific discovery is the unfolding
      Knowledge of God's mind.

THE PARTURIENT CHAMBER

Today Tom gives us our goals and we enter the Parturient Chamber.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Two

As we neared Kor, we switched the ship's invisibility on, then landed on the Northwest corner of Vulpan, and Tom began to prepare us for our jobs.

Tom asked us to give him our attention while he told us what he wanted to accomplish.

"I am going to Selve," said Tom, "and I am going to be looking for a young man named Wills Haddon who is stirring up an underground army, in Selve, against Gog. He wants to set up a democracy in his country. I am hoping he can give me insight into how all of the Selves really feel about their dictator and his genocidal goals.

"Ed, please look for a man named Adam Coleman. He is the leader of the Wales and also the head of their small army. Listen to him, and the people of Wale, so we can see how they are handling being a target of Gog.

"Glenna, honey, I would like you to look for a woman named Miriam Lofts. She is on the Supreme Court and she is also the leader of the VRM, or the Voun Resistance Movement. Find out how much damage Gog has done towards the Vouns and how the Vouns feel about Gog's genocide against the Wales.

"Ann, please look for a young lady named Lucy Prism, who is the spiritual leader of the Emons. Try to find out how much damage Gog has inflicted on the Emons, and how they feel about the persecution of the Wales.

"Let's all be back here within eight hours. Stay invisible when you travel, and make sure that your battery packs are charged. And, just to be safe, make sure your nano batteries are also charged so that the microwaves will work in your ray guns. After all, we do not yet have many studies of Korian wildlife, and are not sure what we shall face in the backcountry. If you are ever in trouble, push the 'panic' button on your operational belt and all of us will immediately find you.

We all strapped on our operational belts and hoped that we would not have to use the ray guns at all.

"Now, one last thing before we go," said Tom. "We must step into the Parturient Chamber and have our energy forms clad in a body much like the body of the person we are going to be visiting. This will allow the people we see to accept us easier as they have never heard of energy forms before, and the concept of a body made up totally of energy, and with none of the physical features that they are accustomed to, is beyond their current understanding."

Each one of us disrobed and entered the Parturient Chamber and came out with the appearance of Korians; we looked like a rainbow troop now. I was a light blue Emon woman of about 40 years of age. It felt itchy to have a body on, but as they say, "Anything for the cause." I gave Ed a hug and a kiss and then we all left the ship to follow our instructions.
                                                                   ______________

Tomorrow we rest for the Sabbath, but will post some poetry this evening, for tomorrow.

Thank you so much for making the change-over with me. Heaven & Hell will be complete soon and then I will post the conclusion. Legend of Kor is the second book of the God Games trilogy and follows the adventures of energynauts; Tom & Glenna and Ed & Ann who were the heroes of Heaven & Hell.

GETTING TO KNOW THE ENERGYNAUTS

Today we introduce the energynauts and the leaders of the nations of Kor.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Two

Glenna appeared in the kitchen with her usual big smile and a great "Good Morning!" Everyone is awake now, and Glenna and I whip up some strawberry shortcake and hot chocolate. Glenna is a mature woman with a lively sense of humor. She has a great love for people and she will be working with the Vouns. The Vouns own the salt mines in their western mountains. They are also goldsmiths, writers, and artists. They trade their salt for gold, silver, and food, but they do have personal gardens where they grow their own fruit and vegetables.

The Voun government is a two-party democracy with anyone able to run for public office. Their religion is one of positive attitude and belief in a great teacher in their past named Episcopo. Their leader, Miriam Lofts, is a grandmother, and has been on the Supreme Court for 23 years. She is also the leader of an underground movement trying to fight against Gog and his Army.

Glenna had been my spirit guide in my last life game. She had always loved Thomas, Tom Boyle, but their previous jobs kept them separated a lot. She is a very compassionate person and won her life game a thousand years ago. She has since served as a spirit guide for several energy forms. She usually chose to be a mother in her own life games, but she had also written  mystery books and poetry in her last life game.

While we are eating, Thomas assigns us our personal missions on Kor. Tom is the oldest member of the team and as such is our leader. Glenna is the next oldest, then Ed, and then Myself as the youngest.

Tom is six feet, three inches tall, and very slender. I first knew him because he was Ed's spirit guide while Ed was playing his last life game. He is deeply in love with Glenna, and they think and act as one. Tom lived his last life game on Earth during World War I and World War II. He was a Polish Jew and was caught up in the Holocaust and spent time in Auschwitz. When he wore out, doing slave labor, he was shot and his body cremated in the huge crematoriums, and thus he has a very good idea of how dictators work. He hopes that he can use his personal knowledge of genocide to help bring peace to Kor.

Tom will be working amongst the Selves and will be contacting Wills Haddon, who leads the rebellion in Selve. The Selves are, for the most part, atheists, and considered the Wales to be ignorant because they believed in one God. They were an arrogant lot with ambitions to rule over all of Kor. They were not at all self-sufficient, and they would not farm because they were too proud to labor hard. They had a lot of power because they had all of the gold and silver which they mined in the mountains-with slave labor-of their southern lands. Kor was on the gold standard, and money was in gold and silver coins.

The Selves used their huge army to make guerilla raids on the other three countries, steal their food and salt, and enslave their peoples. The Selves had a totalitarian, fascist state, headed by a dictator named Gog.

Ed, who is second in command, is a tall, thin man, very advanced spiritually, and he would study the Wales. The Wales are the oldest race on Kor. They are farmers and husbandmen. They are a strong, well-fed, and jolly people who center their lives on family and ONE. Their flag is a hexagram; a figure formed by completing externally an equilateral triangle on each side of a regular hexagon. The hexagram was blue on a white background. They have a system of judges: the judge of ten men; the judge of a hundred men; and the High Judges-ten men who form a panel to judge the toughest cases.

The Wales raise an opalescent fish that lives in their fresh water lakes and is a great delicacy. They trade the food they raise for gold, silver, and salt. They also raise sugar beets which are a legal narcotic for the Korians.

The man who leads the Wale's small guerilla army is Adam Coleman, who has a strong, persuasive personality.

Ed is a handsome man, who has skills in many areas of life. He worked in agriculture as a boy and as a young man. He knows mechanics and he keeps his car and motorcycle running like tops. He loves to fish. He was an electrical engineer and stock broker in his last life game. During his last life game, Tom was his spirit guide and they became fast friends.

Myself, I am the irrepressible Ann. I just won my last life game where I wrote books and was a great-grandmother several times over. I had met Ed at the end of my last life game and now we are one, as befitted two souls who had loved each other since the beginning of existence.

I was assigned to the Emons, the most intelligent of the Korians. They have a utopian society with socialized medicine and a guaranteed income for each countryman (or woman). Every person receives enough money each month to take care of their basic needs and some wants. To supply extra wants, you finish college and then work hard at a good job. Lucy Prism is the most intelligent Emon, and she is the leader of the underground army. Their religion is Spiritualism and each member is highly psychic.

The University of Kor, in Delta, Emon, with its 17 colleges, is where all Korians young and old matriculate. The Emons are principally doctors, lawyers, artists, and teachers. They have home gardens and they manufacture clothes, furniture, hardware, and linens.

Our instructions were to land the ship near Vulpan, the inactive volcano, then turn on our invisibility shield and think ourselves into our various countries. We are to do nothing to interfere with the people's lives or their progress. We are not to perform miracles. We are to listen to what the people are talking and praying about, and get to know their leaders; then we will discuss what their greatest needs are, and how best to help them.

Tomorrow Tom gives us our instructions and we prepare to enter the Parturient Chamber...

THE MURDER AND RAPE OF MISCHI; A VOUN

Mischi is a young Voun mother who makes the ultimate sacrifice to try to save her husband and children.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Two

Mischi's eyes suddenly opened. It was still dark. Something felt wrong. Her heart pounded, she became more aware and could hear a twig snap outside her home. She began to panic. She had heard the stories of night raids in Voun, and elsewhere in Kor, by Gog's men. They said that his soldiers come into a city and burn buildings, rape the women, and steal the children to use as slaves. She turned and shook her husband and he grunted sleepily.

'Wake up Thorn, wake up! Someone is outside in the yard!"

Suddenly galvanized by his wife's words, Thorn jumped out of bed and grabbed for his shotgun, then he went to the window and carefully pulled the curtain ajar. There, on the lawn, were a group of ten of Gog's soldiers, fully armed and gesturing wildly at his house.

"Get up Mischi, and get the children down to the cellar. I'll hold them off!"

Mischi gathered the children, two boys and a girl, and rushed them down the ladder into the root cellar, then she closed the trap door but left it unlocked for Thorn.

Thorn stood in the living room, facing the barricaded door. Thank God, they only had the one door to guard. Maybe the soldiers would go elsewhere if they couldn't get into his home.

Suddenly, Thorn heard pounding on the front door and the soldiers told him to open the door or they would burn down the house around him. Thorn dashed to a window, looked outside, and saw that they did have a torch and cans of gas. Thorn decided he must not let his family burn to death, so he tore down the barricade and cautiously opened the door. He was promptly shot in the heart and his body thrown to the soldier's fire lizards.

Mischi heard the great commotion and the shot, and knew something terrible had happened to Thorn. Quickly, she climbed the ladder and slid the bolt lock closed. Now, in total darkness, she held her children and prayed for their lives. She could hear loud tramping coming from the house, and harsh expletives as they were seeking and searching her home for her whereabouts.

Then, Mischi heard footsteps right above her, and loud orders for her to come out of the cellar if she valued her family's lives.

"No," Mischi screamed, "I will never come out; do as you will!"

"You leave me no recourse. Prepare to die."

Mischi smelled the gas and heard it dripping from the edges of the trap door. Suddenly, there was light as fire danced around the trap door. Mischi pulled her children back into the farthest reaches of the cellar-about ten feet deep. She knew that the fire would consume the small amount of air in the cellar, and they would soon suffocate.

There was a big crash and an axe head could be seen coming through the boards of the trap door. It splintered into a thousand pieces, and rough hands tore the splintered boards away.

A huge Selve soldier came tromping down the ladder. His squinty eyes soon discovered the cowering Mischi and her children. He strode over and grabbed Mischi by her hair and threw her on the ground. With the tip of his sword he ripped her nightdress from her body, then pulled out his penis and fell on Mischi, raping her and stabbing her at the same time. In rage and lust he thrust at Mischi until she lay dead underneath him.

Sated, the soldier called for help, and rounded up the children who were terrified and in shock from what they had just witnessed.

The soldiers dragged the children outside where there was a long line of Voun men, women, and children all chained together at the waist. The soldiers added the three children to the people-chain, and led the group away into the darkness. The rest of the soldiers set fire to Thorn's and Mischi's house and garden, and then marched on to the next house in the village.

Tomorrow we have an introduction to each of the energynauts' lives and their purpose on Kor.
