My dear friends, We have great news to rejoice in today. William was taken off of the paralitic and he is responding to us by nodding and shaking his head. He actually played with a video game for three minutes before he was too tired to go on. It was a miracle to us. After his having been resuscitated and no good prognosis for several days, he is awake and aware. Still on a lot of sedation and with some procedures still ahead of him; today a cardiac cath to make sure that there are still no bleeding from the colateral veins from his heart to his lungs. The doctors have yet to determine what his real issue is and why he is bleeding in his lungs. They are researching and doing uncountable tests to rule out auto-immune diseases, and figure out just what his basic problem is. William is stoic and only the worst pain shows on his face. Thank you for your prayers; they worked. Heavenly Father has definitely blessed him.
This will be short today because we are leaving early for the hospital, but I wanted you to know that another prayer of mine has been answered. My granddaughter, Lindsey Hirsch, arrived in Atlantic City from Belle Plaine, Iowa. I had only met her for 2 hours when she was about 8 years old and we were traveling through Iowa to get to New Jersey (kind of a side-trip). I have been praying to get to know her all of these years, and now that she is 18 she has come on her own. She has such a tender heart and such a desire to get to know her family. She is a real blessing at this particular time of our lives. William responded to her like she had always been in his life.
No word yet on how many books have been sold, but many people have been telling us that they are buying one. The book has been accepted for publishing overseas in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, so far. Thank you for all of your positive thoughts about the book. I really appreciate your support
Until tomorrow, have a great day, and great weather. Thank you again for your prayers and concern for William.
