ANN VISITS HER FAMILY ON EARTH

Ann and Ed had visited the Council of Elders and now understood that there are three different tiers in Heaven. Today, Glenna is going to show Ann how to communicate with her loved ones on Earth.

THE GOD GAMES: Heaven & Hell...Chapter Forty Four

I awoke to a delicate sea breeze ruffling my curtains, and I just knew that it was going to be a wonderful day. I got dressed and went into the kitchen where heavenly mother was just whipping up some strawberry shortcake and asked her if I could have a bowl. She laughed and said sure, as long as I also wanted some whipped cream. She put a huge bowl of strawberries and shortcake before me, topped with mounds of whipped cream and then gave me a mug of hot chocolate. She sure knew how to say that she loved you.

When I had practically finished my breakfast there was a knock on the door and Glenna greeted mother and me. Glenna and I cleaned up the breakfast dishes, and then Glenna asked mother if we could use the living room for a while, particularly the sixty-inch television set. Mother told us to go ahead that no one else was expected to be in the house this morning.

We took seats in the living room and Glenna told me that we would be visiting with my family today.

Rushing through my heart were the most passionate of feelings; a longing to see my family again; painful stabbings at the loss of their personalities. Yes, I must see my family again; I must express my love to them in some way.

"What do I do Glenna," I asked. "How can I see them again? Can you help me to see them again?"

"Ann," replied Glenna, "I know that this is just a momentary heartbreak for you because you know that we can see our relatives and friends, and be with them, any time that we choose to do so."

"But how," I whined in my temporary anxiety.

"Well dear, take a deep breath and calm down, then I can show you how in a moment."

I took a deep breath and said, "Sorry about that Glenna, I feel better now. How do we go about seeing our loved ones on another world; in another dimension? What is the process?"

"We use the television as a starter. We all have televisions in our homes and we use them not for the old use of watching television programs, but to keep tabs on our families on the various worlds that they might live on. Let's turn the set on while I program the remote control to show us your family on the East Coast."

With that said, Glenna pushed a button on the remote, and I could see Walter holding his grandsons on his knees and singing to them. I could see Skeeta and Lindsay as they babysat Kira's little girl.

Wow I thought, they all look so happy and content, maybe there is no problem that I need to fix. Glenna pushed another button and I saw Warren at home with his wife and children just getting ready to barbecue. I saw Sierra in a professional business office, a picture of a young man and a little girl on her desk. Then I saw William as a pediatrician in a large doctor's office; he was comforting a little boy who was afraid to get an influenza shot.

Glenna touched the buttons once more, and I saw Charlie teaching his little grandson a new computer game. Mark was a master mechanic and had two little boys and Lindsey had the little boy that Charlie was watching and two little girls who were currently taking ballet lessons.

Glenna touched the remote again and we were on the West Coast of the United States. I could see David and Alex lounging by a magnificent swimming pool that was just a few feet from the Pacific Ocean; they looked lean and trim, and so happy!

Debby had retired from her job many years ago and watched Laura's pets for her every day. Laura was now a veterinarian and had a thriving practice helping the pets of people who had limited resources. She and Steven had been married years ago and had quite a tribe of animals. James III had married a fine young woman who had given him two sons and a little daughter. Sheera had finished college and was an R.N. taking care of premature babies in a NICU.

Tomorrow Ann reaches out to touch her family with love and support.
