HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY!

This morning the turkey is slowly roasting in the oven while I make macaroni and cheese, green bean casserole, candied yams, salad, banana pudding with vanilla wafers, mince meat pie, lemon pie, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, soda, and lots of stuffing in the turkey. This is the number one feast and thanksgiving day for marking all of our blessings and telling God "thank you" for the upcoming birth of Milani Rebecca Brown and our health and wellness after escaping with our lives and property after going through Hurricane Sandy earlier this year.

This year we thank God for most of our family members having a job; for re-electing President Obama; for moving us to the Ritz and helping our health to improve; for new friends and the loving support of old friends; for David's getting a car; for Dodge' and Wyatt's health and growth; for bringing me my granddaughter Lindsey; for Lindsay's new baby; and most of all, for each of YOU who follow my writings and read my blog each day-thank you!

Today Sierra and Terrance will be coming up from Delaware, but the boys can't come because they have to work today. Debby has to work later today because she works for Walmart and they are going to have a "Black Friday" Sale starting at 8:00 p.m. tonight. A lot of people from this area spend most of their Christmas money on this one day after Thanksgiving. In our family we do not go to those sales because there is a very real fear of being trampled during the first rush to get into the store and later as people vie for the relatively few items really on sale. Best of good fortune to all who attempt the crowds on "Black Friday."

Thank you Lord, for providing for all of our needs and even some of our wants. For the love of family members and the health of all of us. Thank you for keeping the family together even though we are living so far from each other. For the love of all of my children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thank You for loving us and keeping us safe and most of all for always being here to support us in the bad times as well as the good.

May you have a very fine Thanksgiving Day and may God bless and keep you and your family in adversity and abundance. May God bless and keep our country and your country in wisdom and good government, and may the war in the middle east be resolved for the benefit of all countries involved.

Happy Thanksgiving Day! May you be blessed, and all of your household know good health and a balanced diet. God bless each of you and your families!

Tomorrow Ann goes to work in the House of Pathways building working for Marie doing spreadsheets for people's birth paths.
