GLENNA & MIRIAM ENRICH THEIR FRIENDSHIP

Today we continue Glenna's visit and exploration of Voun and her new relationship with Miriam.

THE GOD GAMES: Legend of KOR...Chapter Seven

Miriam and Glenna walked into Piers. What a gorgeous town! All of the buildings were in the style of the Victorian era on Earth and yet things were kept up so well, that everything looked new and very clean. The Victorian-style homes were built upon a slight hill that sloped down to the Plange waterfront. There were huge fishing fleets in the large blue harbor getting ready to go out to sea for the day's catch.

In the center of downtown Piers there was a huge eight-story building made entirely of big blocks of salt. It glistened and shone in the sun and was a chief tourist attraction; that is when tourists dared to travel to Voun. Right now most visitors were salesmen and people traveling for business.

"Let's go to my room in the Supreme Court Building and finish our conversation," said Miriam.

The Supreme Court Building was impressive, and the largest building in Voun. It had a gold dome and all of the brick was pure white. The drapes in Miriam's office were a rich brocade of red, green, and gold. The furniture was covered with matching brocade and the Emon-designed plush rug tied all of the colors together. Miriam's desk was made of mahogany and it was orderly to the last paperclip.

"Suppose that I believe all you have told me about God and his plans for all Korians. How do I know you come in truth; how can I trust you? No one else is supposed to know the secrets of our soldiers and what we were training for."

I put my hand over my heart, and said, "Miriam, my heart is filled with love and sorrow. Love for the godly spirits of your people; sorrow for what happened to Mischi's family and all of the other atrocities that have happened over the years. How many people have you lost to Gog over the last decade?"

"We have lost about 300,000 Vouns that we are aware of. Some of our people may have fled to other countries or have been caught and killed, but we are missing over 300,000 Vouns."

"It is time to take a stand, Miriam. My friends and I suggest a meeting of all four groups: the VRM; the SRM; the ERM; and the Army of Wale, at our ship near Vulpan two days from now. You may bring your second in command, or whomever you feel closest to.

"Tomorrow, I will meet you where we first met this morning, on the mountain outside of Piers; at 7:00 a.m., and then, we can discuss what help we can be to you."

"That will be fine. It will give me time to come up with more questions; I am quite overwhelmed right now."

Miriam then said, "Can you give me a small demonstration of your powers? I feel quite torn right now and want to believe what you are saying, but it all seems so far-fetched.

"Let's get down on our knees and pray to God to comfort our hearts and guide us."

"By all means," I said. "God will speak to our hearts. He will confirm my presence for you."

Miriam and I knelt down by our chairs and I asked ONE to speak to Miriam and let her know that I had been telling the truth to her. A moment later, Miriam began to softly chuckle and a huge grin crossed her face.

"My heart is overjoyed and at peace. I am feeling so happy I can hardly not laugh out loud," said Miriam as she pulled me gently to my feet and hugged me tightly.

"Thank you so much for coming to help us. I will get the word spread among my officers and the men, and we will be prepared when you come back."

"I am so glad you have heard God speak in your heart. Now we can all pull together and complete his work."

"Will you be safe going back to your ship all alone?" asked Miriam.

"Yes. All I have to do is become invisible and then think my way back to the ship. I will be there in a second." And with that said, I pushed the invisibility button and thought my way back to the ship.

Tom was very upset when I got back, and I took him into our bedroom to lie down and quiet himself. He was facing such horrendous memories and thinking about the loss of all of his family during his last life game.

I looked forward to dinner because after it was over we would all sit down for a meeting and go over our adventures of the day; and then we can talk about all of the emotions and prayers we had heard, and make a plan about how best to help the Korians.

Tomorrow we visit our old friend Molly, the Selve, and her decision to leave her husband and seek a way to help the Wales.
