The energynauts and the Korian leaders discuss weapons and the assassination of Gog.
THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Eleven
"OK, that takes care of our first mission, now what should we cover next?" questioned Tom.
"First, we need to assess the number of weapons we have," said Bond. "We have approximately 3,000 weapons and we have a munitions factory for manufacturing ammunition and weapons. We can fully arm the soldiers that we send to General Coleman and have weapons left over, if any of you need more weapons."
"I believe that we have about 6,000 weapons," said General Coleman, "but we use over 5,000 on a daily basis, and we have an order for 500 from the munitions factory in Voun."
"We only have about 1,500 guns and maybe 500 knives and bayonets, so we will have to depend on your generosity to arm the soldiers I send to General Coleman," said Lucy.
"We do have at least 3,000 weapons, so I can definitely give 1,000 weapons to you Lucy for your regular soldiers and your Special Forces soldiers," suggested Miriam.
"Thank you," said Lucy, "that is very generous of you and I accept."
Quickly, the group went over the number of vehicles and animals for the Special Forces unit.
"Let us set three weeks from today for our assault on the internment camps, and let us plan to meet here every Sunday morning to finalize operations, until Gog is only a parting memory," said General Coleman.
"Now, what is the next item on the agenda?" asked Tom.
"Killing Gog!" replied General Coleman. "Look, we can play games with words and soft-coat what we know we have to do, but let's be strong and do what we know is the righteous thing to do; and assassinate Gog outright!"
"We agree totally," said all of the Korians in unison.
"Well, we are here to support your decisions," said Tom, "so let us make a pact and a plan. It is true that evil must be destroyed, and Gog is as evil as it is possible to be. However, first let's break for lunch and be thinking about a plan while we relax for a moment."
"Great!" was the rousing chorus from around the table.
Everybody got up to stretch their legs and use the facilities, and Glenna and I started to set up the lunch with help from Trev and Julie.
We had fixed carrot and raisin salad, broiled tuna fish steaks, mashed sweet potatoes, bread, cheese cake with blueberry topping, and iced pomegranate juice.
After everyone was full to overflowing, Glenna and I cleared off the table and our guests stretched their legs, then Tom called everyone back to the meeting.
"We are discussing the assassination of Gog. Has anyone given this any thought?" asked Tom.
General Coleman raised his hand and stood up. "I have been thinking and planning for this operation ever since our friends came calling on us with their awesome presence. I think I have a fool-proof plan.
"Me, Wills, Tom, and Ed will assassinate Gog in his own bed in the early morning hours three weeks from today. The invasion of the internment camps will take place one hour later than the assassination, when all of Gog's men will be in disarray we will have the perfect time to strike."
"Hold on just a moment, Adam. We have a really serious objection to that plan. You see Adam, Ed and I are not allowed to kill anyone, so how can we help you with an assassination?" posed Tom.
"I don't need you to actually kill Gog; either Wills or I will-I hope myself personally. However, I thought we could team up; myself and Ed, and you and Wills. Then we can use your invisibility to escape detection and your thought-travel to move from the armory onto Gog's home property. Can you do this for us?"
"Ed, what do you think?" questioned Tom.
"I think we can do that much without any problem," Ed replied. "I say to go with them."
"All right, then Ed and I will go with you and give you the help we can. We will meet you at the armory in three weeks."
"Bond will be in charge of the troop movement from the armory to the border of Selve. When we have assassinated Gog, and his men are in disarray, Bond will strike the internment camps and slaughter all of the Selve soldiers while they are distracted. Lucy, Alice, Miriam, Molly, Glenna and I will follow Bond into the camps and take charge of the prisoners.
