My dear friends I just wanted to take a moment and let you know that I am going through one of the big changes in life. Over the next three weeks I will be preparing to move to a new apartment-which I am very happy about-and it is a little bit of a stressful time for me. I am moving to restore my health and become strong in body again.
I ask for your indulgence over the next three weeks as I may be late getting my blog up or may even have my schedule disrupted and not be able to put up a blog-for instance if I get caught between the time I must leave here, and the time I move into my new apartment. I am praying that the move is seamless and that I am not ever late getting the blog up or have to put up with down days if my computer is put in storage for a few days. If I could ask for your best wishes and prayers that all will go smoothly, then I also thank you for your understanding and compassion. May the good Lord bless and keep you in all that you endeavor. Today the first meeting between the energynauts and the Korian leaders concludes on a very high level.
THE GOD GAMES: Legend of Kor...Chapter Eleven
"When the camps are freed, and Gog's men murdered, then the bulk of the Special Forces will march on to Mano. The soldiers who had marched from the borders of Emon and Voun to the borders of Selve, capturing all of the Selve soldiers that had been infiltrating their countries, will all proceed to enter Selve and capture or kill the Selve soldiers as they meet them. They may be willing to surrender once Gog is dead. When Selve has been captured, we will place Wills at the head of the government until open elections can take place," summarized General Coleman.
"Thank you Adam," said Wills. "I appreciate that you have really thought this through. I believe your plans can work. How do the rest of you feel?"
One by one, the Korian leaders agreed to General Coleman's plans. No one could think of a better option, so they all shook hands and made a covenant to support each other in all they were about to accomplish.
"I would like to offer one suggestion," said Wills. "Once Selve has a rational government in place, I propose that we pay compensation in gold to each of the victims of this Holocaust; or their families should they be dead."
"That is an excellent suggestion Wills," responded Tom, "that may help repair the bad feelings among all Korians. We will leave that to you to pursue. One thing I might add, and it is for you to decide finally, is to rename your new army the Underground Resistance Army, or URA. What do you think? It will simplify your movements and correspondence."
All of the Korians agreed that a new designation would simplify procedures for all of them, and so they proudly created the URA with General Coleman at its head.
"I have one other suggestion," said Miriam quietly, "I think it will cause further demoralization of the Selves. Let all three of our countries refuse to sell our wares to any Selve until this war is over and Gog is assassinated. The Selves are already short of food and of course they have no gardens of their own, so they will really be feeling the crunch and maybe they will start to rethink their devotion to Gog. What do you all think about this?"
All eight of the leaders voted to stop selling any merchandise or food to Selve. They felt a little sorry for the individual Selves, but they knew it would give the URA an advantage over Selve. A motion was made and seconded that all food would be rationed for everyone so that none of us would forget the starving Selves.
"Well," said Tom, "I think that we have accomplished a lot today. Does anyone have a question or a concern we should discuss?"
Everyone shook their heads and Lucy said, "I feel confident in our plan and it is nearly 5:00 p.m. already. I think we should go home and start putting our plans into action. When should we get together again?"
"Next week, on this day of the week-Sunday-each of us will meet with each of you again and bring you back to the ship. We will meet here every Sunday until the war is begun; at 7:00 a.m.," explained Tom.
With all of that said, we all got up from the table and the Korians took a last long look around the ship. Then we each took our Korian partners and thought our way back to their homes. We were all tired and crammed full of new information and goals, and we all decided that the meeting had been very useful and successful.
The most important goals had been accomplished; that we were all close allies now, and that we had come to a complete agreement and plan to eradicate Gog and the Selvean Army.
Tomorrow we are once again at a Gog political rally and witness the hanging of Thomas Riley.
